I love the "how to get electrocuted in the great outdoors" idea. Genius. And I especially love how going inside, getting the fan, finding an extension cord and a binder clip and then hooking it all up outdoors is such a time saver as opposed to standing there for a few minutes. Who needs a simple sprinkler when 5 minute crafts can turn it into a dangerous and thrilling make-work task?! Fun.

At 6:40, on any item, any surface...if you can get a blanket under it, it'll slide like you're on ice. Try it! Just pull the blanket.
I reuse a lot of bottles, well actually I pretty much recycle my entire life, spend little, buy used, buy little but with bottles much more utilitarian. Cut them off to grow plant cutting..free plants too! I’m just not going to decorate with plastic. All Thrift stores have tons of vases for $1 or less. That being said I think the Swan napkin holder is cute for themed party, baby naming or something? And in my experience thicker bottles are not sharp. But in many tutorials they show using the craft knife for entire thing. You only need a sharp point to start it. Many scissors will cut bottles. Especially those kitchen types and home stores sell scissors rated for leather in the tool dept. But be careful the blades on those are very sharp. They will make even none sharp cuts but you can also sand them down. I agree the hose with electric fan is dangerous. Use a drip hose, the kind that just lays on there. It’s totally water wasting and inefficient to spray water into the air. Water the roots. Besides that plans will get mildew and aphids.
Hose on fan. Sit in puddle drinking ice coffee... water gets into electricity... hot coffee. BRAVO!

Put the socks in a net bag or the legs of some old tights and tie knots in the end, those things that you have used will bang about in the drum and break off if plastic, or smash the fins in the drum if metal, and that fan idea is dangerous with water!
I used to just put all the babies sox on a diaper pin(Big-ass safety pin).
Buy a purpose built water sprinkler, it won't electrocute you!

I thought the recycling and garbage hack for small garbage can was very clever. I will try this!
Those lids won't hold the bag handles in place, they'll slip right off as soon as there's any pressure on them. Large plastic hooks would do the job nicely, and look better. Disposing of organic waste in a plastic is just a terrible idea too.
Note: A plastic bottle or jug that's cut like this has extremely sharp edges. I wouldn't want guests or family members to reach inside of one for a napkin!

hadn't gotten to that part when I saw you message. In the USA, a ventilator is what we call something that breathes for a person in the hospital. I was really shocked. Then I just realized it was just a fan. Of course it is still dangerous but not as bad as I thought.

I actually thought most of these were clever and refreshingly original...till I got to the nail vanish remover idea near the end..that took five minutes when you could just use the nail varnish remover you use to make the mixture and do it in half the time 🙃!
Hey I have an idea, the time sewing a hot bowl holder, can be saved using a plate or a magazine.

I’m thinking that it was probably an inexpensive decorative holder for a special occasion like a luncheon or party, not for everyday. And who seriously is that dumb that they cut themself on a detergent bottle ? Cmon peoples, really!

Yeah, it looked cool, like a homemade bedroom slippers but it will ruin the socks.
And make them dirty and dragging on the floor!
Additional notes and not detracting from the ideas. Some things are impractical. The thin yarn on the rug would cost too much. You can make a rag rug or just sew two old towels together with rows. That glue is not washable! And the tons of glue to make computer feet. Many cheap products sold. Or cut up a cork. Just think more to reuse than new use! Save the landfill! I make totes from tees and jeans. Some are no sew but do not glue! Glue is not thread. It’s not that hard to get a used machine and learn to sew. Instead of hacks you can have a business. Rag rugs. Baskets. Lots you can do from upcycle. I plan on teaching sewing locally. Again not chopping down some of the creativity. I may borrow some too.
My laptop is almost always in the same place, I set three plastic compote cups upside-down and they do the job just fine - and they don't get in the way when I want to take it somewhere. I wonder if the hot-glue manufacturer sponsored this video, hoping people will actually waste that much product on a bad idea ...
Even that some of these hacks end up being more expensive than just going for what's already available (of course minus the hose/fan combination) l just love her ingenuity; she's definitely not one to be idle.

Cheryl Mailloux it's so scary to think that one who isn't coordinated enough to tie their apron thinks they're able to use a power tool and drill into something that small and so close to their fingers
To wash the socks the best way not to lose some in the washing machine is to put them in a bag usually reserved for fragile textiles, so locked in they stay in pairs ;)
I'd recommend the fan and hose idea ONLY to those who hate hand watering their lawn more than sudden death by embarrassingly stupid electrocution mishap.

Watching this person cut with an xacto blade toward their hand and fingers repeatedly makes me wonder how they still have fingers.
And of course you have the mixing of water and electricity as well as using freshly cut plastic bottles for things (I see bandaids in the future).
I have to say though - the sliding refrigerator shelf is brilliant.

Napkin holder is a great idea for me as a single person. Not going to even try for the design. But to keep my budget in check, recycling my laundry containers will be a great savings of monies,! Depending on the size of the laundry detergents as I go along in life purchasing, I see the next one ready to be emptied, small enough to put my pills&vitamins high up on a shelf&safe for the young grandkids when they come to visit.

Just make sure you use a laundry soap or detergent bottle and not a fabric softener or other laundry aid. You'll never be able to clean all the residue out of the bottle, but plants thrive on the nutrients in soap and detergent...and die from whatever is in fabric softener and other things.

You can also put your computer speakers under bulky furniture (e.c., beds, benches, armoires) to amplify the sound. It probably works with your phone too, but what if you want to answer it quickly. I suppose you could wear phones and mic and set your phone for auto answer (while it plays).
