Geeez... at 6:00 there, it sounds like a 2 stroke on the left (of screen)? Did yah hear that last zing! "I WON"!! . That last one made the difference with the turbo... all that high pitch, whinning RPM's for nothing!! Just add a turbo and the car will be a-lot happier!!
Annemarie sanders Yah I was thinking that they could use a tuned pipe for it since a lot of the exhaust is expended just the same as a two-stroke. The pipe is like a fuel saver and a sort of backwards turbo. In reality your NOT getting the performance out of the engine without a turbo, similar to diesel engines. I've seen a lot of chainsaw video's with port jobs done to them, and I feel like banging my head on a wall... without a tuned pipe the port job is basically useless. Just the same a two-stroke is basically useless without a tuned pipe, because that IS the way they are designed to run . Makes no sense....
To all you Piston Heads!! I don't know of any 1.3 litter piston engine that can produce 300 hp without the use of turbo,supercharge or Nitro. Except for a super high end racing engine like Formula 1 v12, but a Mazda 13B peripheral with a 51IDA Weber 300+ hp thats how they dominated SCCA GTU in the 80's they took away the record from Porsche 911 for having the most victories in a production car. ( something to think about and I own three Porsche's 911,914 & 928 but I also own R100 , RE Truck, 79 Rx7, 83 Rx7, 84 GSLSE, 88 RX7 Conv. and a 93 3rd Gen. Cheers!!!
