Some of the parts of the show were good but for the most part there was nothing clean about it. The show was full of filthy jokes that are far from PG or even PG-13. It's hard to find an episode that doesn't have something childishly filthy.
@@tictacmothma Well historically speaking, end of 1960s was contextually a part of sexual revolution. Still very clean by today's vulgarity "standards" in media.
The days when there was something so good on TV that I would stay home on a Saturday just to watch this show instead of going out with my friends. Today? I'd rather go out.
I love this and I wish for the days when me and my grandma would sit in front of the TV with coffee ☕ during a snow ❄️ storm watching Carol and laughing 💓🌨️
This would be the year 1969, sad for the Vietnam War we know today the outcome, but sadder is all those children's welfare institutions that do not exist anymore. Christmas then represented ALL that was good, the Birth of the Saviour of the world, today such programs do not exist anymore, they worship the enemy of our souls, check last week Grammys. Thank-you for the memories it was not perfect but much better than today. John 3:16🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is a really lovely musical. I like it and enjoy it so much. A big thank you to those three excellent artists, Carole Burnette, Marilyn Horne, and Eileen Farrell.
Idk what year this episode was recorded. But the way Carol acted as a reporter that is easily swooned to men, is like Ms. Hannigan acting ms. Goodie two-shoes lol 🤭🤭
The elegance and class of days gone by. Good clean humor, beautiful voices, elegant dancing. We have lost so much as a society it breaks my heart.

I fully agree. She is a Class Act
Compared to today it was squeaky clean 🧼
We are living in last days of a man made society, 2 Timothy 3:1-5..... After the end will be paradise restored: Psalm 37:9-11,29
Best show ever!! Love Carol SO much! They don't make em like this anymore.... for some reason. Oh yeah, cuz it takes talent that no one has these days
Those who do have this talent get skipped over for... Well, whatever "all that" is. We could have these days back, if not for that!
carol is a super classy woman

Love the Opera singers, especially Marilyn Horn. Beautiful show!
Carol I love you then and now.

Why didn't we appreciate those days more when we were living them? I'd do anything to go back to them, myself 😢
Am I the only one who is amazed and fascinated by the Bob Mackie wardrobe???
@amye713 Who are you speaking of?
Cher too he made her nice skimpy outfits ..... 1:05
@ReleaseTheQuackers Bob is the clothes designer fir Cher and Carol . 1:54
@@monl3807 I don't understand why you needed to say this. I am very well aware of who Bob Mackie was and is. His work has always been amazing.
Carol could hold her own with the best singers.
Great Finale. He is Born and God Bless everyone.
AMEN!
Hallelujah and Amen!!!
I am loving this show!🥰🥰🥰, the costumes are so dated ! I grew up in the 50’s, 60’s.
The variety shows of yesteryear, how I miss them. By far, better than anything on the idiot box in this century.
Dear God...the Class. The style. Carol, oh Carol...Why did you ever go away?🥺💔
Bob Hope . He was my idol when I was still a child in 1960 s
That looks as such a comfortable dress!
I love the black dresses and the finale was amazing! ❤️🙏🎄☃️🦌💕
The "Hey Big Spender" costumes remind me of Mae West.
Priceless
Bob Ross’ mom brings a painting!!! How 😎
Omg Bob hope
A special Episode, Thank you for posting💐💐💐💐
The pictures of Mr. Handsome all over, nice touch.
19:38 In the description, I think the opera singer is Marilyn Horne not Madeline Horn.
Great show great video love the show
Great!

😂 got to love her 5:45
I wonder if she can still pull off the Tarzan yell.
She can!! I saw a video of her doing it recently
Is that THE BOB ROSS? I didn’t know he painted anything but scenery
No. That Bob Ross was from Florida.

Good clean really funny fun! Compared to family friendly drag queen shows in 2022z
Marilyn Horne, not Madeline.
NOT the full episode. Shows of that era were always about 50 minutes of program and 10 minutes of commercials.

Why is it labeled as Christmas 🤔
Because it's ON Christmas
