May have to give that a try! My go-to has been Wild Turkey 101 Rye.
Green River is crushing the budget game right now. I’ve given a couple of bottles as gifts because they are cheap enough but good enough for people who are into whiskey but not way down the rabbit hole like a lot of us!😂

JD Sb/bp rye is phenomenal. Haven’t had one bad bottle so far. I always buy bulk when it comes around because I don’t see it on the shelf on the regular. I have some 133.3 proof and it’s blowing my mind. I need to conserve my stock. It’s so hard to. I’ll have to try the bonded rye now. Thanks

@bourbonjunkies (Dan specifically) JD Bonded Rye is a $30 bottle, but considering it's 700ml I'd call the price a tie with Green River.
You guys need to try wheel horse rye then it's 101 proof 95/5 from green river but goes to Massachusetts or something to get bottled.
I snagged the gr store pick from rishi's here in GR, after a guest mentioned it on your podcast.
Just as a point of reference, I recently bought a JD Bonded for $32.99 in TN on a visit and then here in AL, the state ABC stores have it for $36.99.
Delicious and crushable. On my 3rd bottle already.

The Green River sounds like something I need to check out. How would you compare to Redwood Empire "Emerald Giant" or Pikesville?

This Green River 95/5 Rye is delicious for the cost. Even in Canada it makes this a good grab. I can happily sip this in a Manhattan and for a single malt scotch lover that's awesome! I get mint, clementine, tobacco, leather wallet, a bit of dill. Do you guys get any dill? I usually pay a lot for a 95/5 Rye and yet I'd take this one easily for a change! I often drink Sagamore Cask Strength Rye - but this is nice. Not sure about sipping. I love good spice. I love sipping Sagamore. The Green River isn't a sipper but for cocktails it's nice. I need more for sipping Rye. Cheers.
How would you compare this with Redwood Empire Emerald Giant? They’re the same price by me, and I’ve been digging the Emerald Giant
