This is the single most respectful religious debate I have ever watched.
I just meant because it seamed like this was a lot more civil debate than most I see. They both tried to understand each other's views completely instead of just trying talk over one another. I could be interpreting it wrong, if so please let me know.
Such a civilized debate, no insults or bad mouthing. Respect for both of you guys.
More debates need to be like this. An intellectual, yell-free, civilized exchange of ideas.
Don't involve politicians and mainstream media. They just may be achieved.

I admire their debate. It remained civilized yet both individuals were passionate about their beliefs.
I don't know why there are so many dislikes, this was a really nice and civilised debate. I'm starting to think that when people see the word muslim or islam, they automatically dislike the video. I bet half the dislikers didnt even watch a minute of the video. kinda shameful really

And that ladies and gentlemen is how you have a good debate/civilised conversation! No shouting, becoming over emotional, letting each other speak and respecting each other views. One of the best I've seen on YT...would have like to have seen more.
I actually agree with everyone else as to the Muslim man. I am an American AND an agnostic, and I was surprised t how educated and articulate this man clearly is. If the world were more like these guys it would truly be a better place for sure!

I'm a non Muslim who is interested in Islam right now. I wish I had watched brother Muhammed's videos back when I did Religious Studies in College and gained a lot of knowledge. I would have refuted and gave strong counter arguments to my biased teacher, who was clearly an atheist. She taught in a way that ot was so hard to defend Religion vs Atheism and we were pretty much indirectly forced to argue for Atheism so that we can get easy marks. Obviously, Religion is represented mostly by Christianity in the arguments that we had to write.
I now strive to have constructive conversations like this

Good debate. I'm an Atheist but really like this Mohammed Hijab guy. I've seen him debate Basics of Sikhi and he seems to be a nice guy with a good character. He also makes the best arguments for God that I've heard.

They have different views, they debate their views, but they both manage to laugh not at each other but with each other, and complement each other's views and arguments. So peaceful, if only the world was like this.

Where is part two? This discussion was spectacular! A true example of civilization! I wish we had more of these other than the riots of other videos. Why all the dislikes? I and many others thought the discussion was well conducted.

the Muslim guy is very underrated...so he said it is necessary for their to be an entity with the qualities to bring about the universe the way it is...so lets turn to the conditional that if the universe is so perfect then their must have been a god to design it...now if the universe existed without a god..then there would be infinite reasons for its existence..but if an entity existed before the universe then its more probably that that entity designed it...pretty cool
So, i consider myself an atheist. But i love the way these guys challenge each other on reasonable arguments. Plus, it shows that people are very much capable of having intellectual conversations despite having different beliefs. Im enjoying watching this!

First of all I love how the debate is civilized, second of all i love how the title isn't "THIS MUSLIM DESTROYS ATHEISM." or "IGNORANT MUSLIM GETS SCHOOLED." or something stupid like that. The title is just a objective description of what is being shown, and we can figure out for ourselves which arguments we agree with and which we don't. If you agree with me you'd much rather see videos of this type you should do the same as me and leave a like, because liking this video isn't about agreeing with everything that's being said, or your own ideas and believes being confirmed, it's about saying you like the format and would like more. Great job.

i am muslim, and loved how the athiest answered the questions with knowledge and without ignorance. even if he dosent become muslim, may god make us like him to be open minded and leave the ignorance aside if we have any in our heart

I'm catholic , but I do agree with that muslim dude. For us to pop up here , and posess the ability to think about God , reality and where we come from, simply being a case of random stuff happening in the universe is too much of a coincidence. As much of a coincidence as winning a lottery draw of a million 100 times in a row or so.
This is the way disagreements should be handled. Well done to both sides.

I loved that. It was such a nice and polite discussion and it was so great to see two people talking about this subject and both of them are intelligent enough to actually be able to consider the other side and take it in and form their own opinion. made me so happy :)

I see two people staring through the same lens with different perspectives. I think religion and science are two sides of the same coin.

I watched the whole video.. among the many things I thought of... at the end, regardless of the subject matter, I see two people playing verbal chess. Which rippled when bystanders injected their 2 cents. I agree with the previous com-mentor that it was a good example of a respectful interaction.

what the atheist wants to say is if there were other conditions, the world would look differently, and maybe other species would now civilizing earth or maybe not. and it would not matter for us human being as we would not exist and possess any consciousness , telling us that we should have existed... and this makes sense to me. In this case it seems the Muslim assumes the belief that our current result was an intentional result. The Atheist simply trying to reiterate that existence as we know it was chance, just as any existence would have been, the only matter it carries is the matter we give it. The Muslim seeks to verify purpose through a person who believes there is none.
I am an atheist myself for all the reasons given eloquently by the young man in this video and many more, however I do really appreciate seeing such a respectful debate and was interested to hear the way the Muslim interviewer had thought about these questions x nice work boys :) xxxx
As an atheist, I agree with the atheist completely. However, I appreciate the intelligence of the Muslim. Most religious people I meet do not think of their religion so in depth scientifically. Nor do they know the theories of time.
These type of debates are fantastic, they have none of the yelling and nonsense that are so common on RUclips. I truly hope people debate closer to this style in the near future.

The argument about the time and the universe coming to existence at the same time was really interesting, there must have been a creator i believe, a creatore that existed outside before time and maybe out of time all together.
Interesting discussion. Their willingness to concede some of each other's points clarifies the actual area of disagreement, which is that, while the weak anthropic principle (in contrast to the strong anthropic principle) seems valid, there's something deeply unsatisfying about it.
The muslim has a point in saying that you wouldn't bet your life on the complete works of Shakespeare resulting from a purely random process, even though the notion that there's something special about the complete works of Shakespeare is wholly subjective.
Okay, very simple version of the atheist guys argument, lets say we have three six sided dice, we are amazed at the fact that all the dice came up as 1 1 1, but the atheist guy is saying that the probability of it going 1 1 2 or 5 4 3 is equal to 1 1 1, the fact that it DID land on 1 1 1 and we are observing that result afterwards does not prove that somebody controlled the result, now instead of 3 dice imagine it being 10^500 dice, it doesn't matter, the fact that they all had to land on 1 for us to be here could still be random, the universe in it's current state is ridiculously unlikely, but it still IS, the universe is here in it's current state, we did land on all 1, nothing is amazing afterwards, nobody predicted landing on just 1 and making that bet would be the absolute worst.
