Thank you!!!💖 This is the very first project I've ever completed without crying and giving up halfway (I suck at following directions 🤣). And I've been at it for months now. I feel so accomplished 😌

Since she kept saying one thing and doing another ( "8 SC" but there was 7, etc) I tried to make a pattern to follow:
Materials: Yarn, 4mm hook, tapestry needle, button
ROW 1: Slip knot onto hook, CH10, 3SC into second CH SP from hook, *SK 1 CH SP, SC into next CH SP* repeat * until 1 CH SP remains, 3SC into last CH SP, turn work (7 SC not counting 3SC on end)
ROW 2: SC into every CH SP in row (7 SC not counting 3SC on end), SL ST into first of the turning chain you did previously
ROW 3-5: *Chain 3, stitch mark 3rd chain, 1DC in second turning CH SP, turn work, DC in each CH SP (20 DC including turning chain), remove stitch marker, slip stitch into 3rd chain* repeat * for rows 4-5
ROW 5-6: after last slip stitch, *CH3, DC into each CH SP for a total of 10 DC (counting the CH3 as a DC), turn work* repeat * for row 6
ROW 7: CH2, turn work, HDC in 5 CH SP (counting your CH2), CH2, 5 HDC in remaining CH SP, slip stitch into CH SP below your last HDC
End: Cut yarn and using a tapestry needle, weave tail in and out, meet tail ends and tie together, cut off excess, turn coin purse inside out and sew button on to match up with button hole made

I followed along with the video on silent and was able to make 6 of them. Thank you very much, I made mine a bit bigger but not by much.

I watched tons of tutorial videos about this project and seriously this is one of the best thank you so much for this tutorial I learned a lot from you!!!

I appreciate the tutorial but I have learning difficulty with my ADHD and I got lost when you just start going into the next thing without explaining certain elements (like where to pull when tying slipknot, and how exactly to start on the 2nd row because I get lost just inserting my needle in the knots.) It felt like being taught a sequence of dance.oves without explaining how to do each move. Just going a bit slower would be magical for people like me thank you!

Thin yarn is ideal, unless you make a bigger one then bulky yarn works too :)

Not gonna lie,but you have lots of hate comments but guys you wil not believe i made 3 of these they were easy and guys remember you should have brain to understand if you dont understand by your own you cant blame her although

    • @MarciaB12

You are quite insulting calling other people rude and then being rude yourself. We all try hard. I would never blame her tho, just my tiny brain that clearly doesnt work correctly.

This, unfortunately, was not the easiest instructions to follow. I'm a pretty seasoned crocheter. I wish you the best, just didn't work for me.
