I have the new Nami Klima. Its amazing!
think it's too slow for that price
Please can you tell me about it?? Is it alright? What about the stem clamp dumper? Any wobbles? I really want to buy it but am afraid after watching this
@@davideczekHow about accelleration? How often do you need higher speed than 42 mph? Living in a city accelleration is way more convenient than speed I think. I love my Klima.
@@AndersCaous I'm super excited to get mine.. at 6 30 230 pounds i heard this is the way to go for heavy riders
@@davideczekwhich would you recommend for the same price give or take 200$
I don't know when Nami started addressing and fixing all Burn-E issues but my Burn-E 2 Max built 10/23 came with steel shaft as well as updated frame reinforcement (no hole).
There is even newere redesign that looks absolutely ridiculous. It cema out only a day after I published this video so it will be included in another Nami vodeo.
@@escootIreland All it takes is you exposing them, no matter how small of a creator you happen to be, and they get their act together.
Nami blast for me then, looks the best option 😁👍🏻
Some scooters have design issues, mine stem cracked two times and I sold it even tough it is another brand, now got a small one (max speed 45 km/h) but for city ride its fine and it is LG cells which IMHO is the most important feature to have reliable battery.
Stem cracked two times? Oh, wow. Hope youre fine. Thank you for information shared.
I immediately checked my (pretty much brand new) nami klima stem clamp after you mentioned the cracking stem clamp issue, i wasn't expecting to actaully see a crack but there it was 😂, good thing i found out now and not in a crash, I had to oder a replacement right away, I'm not taking any chances.
I'm really glad my video helped and you didn't find out hard way. Another case prevented. Exactly the reason why I'm making this videos. When did you buy your Klima and is it an old stock? Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. Helps a lot.
@escootIreland I bought it just over 1 month ago from Ride and Glide, I think it might be new stock, but not too sure about that
Been waiting for this video. Thank you for making it.
Thank you for watching and interacting. I will keep an eye on whats happening with Nami and continu making videos.
@@escootIreland Do you know if Apollo is better?
Unfortunately Ive never tried Apolo myself so really dont know. If I get hands on it I will for sure check it out and make video about it.
Good video and definitely will help others.
Is regen braking very weak on the klima?
I hate my nami Burn-E 2. The stem snapped in two the second time I rode it. Installing a new stem has been hell. The Vsett 10+ was just better to maintain.
Unfortunately, Nami engineers just still didn't do their homework. Did you report it in the fb group?
I love mine. I got the newest updated version Max and it's a beast with pmt tires and an updated finger throttle I plugged into it. I like going fast but I love going in Eco mode too
Did you dial up your suspension to fit your weight and riding proformance preload and damping it is a bad machine you don't get a scooter like that and just ride it has to be fine tuned
Also your stem screw was it tightened properly.....
Hiya. Im sorry but Ill have to check google translate to reply since I dont speak many languages but than you for your comment. Ill check it out as soon as Im on my PC.
@@escootIreland Thank you for this work and this awareness. However, which brand of electric scooter today is really reliable? The Nami brand seemed better to me, and proactive but apparently not that much. Considering their prices it's really disappointing. Compared to other well-known brands, how would you classify it ?
@@karting_passion my choice is Inmotion RS. Check out my video about it. I had few Inmotion eScooters and theyre really super quality built. My Nami is now for sale and by summer Im planning to get Inmotion RS. I can maybe help sourcing one.
are we still talking aboout stems?
No. Were talking about all known problems and I'm bringing videos about other brands soon to.
just bought my first pev the updated Nami Burn E 2 Max few weeks ago with PMT tires installed. It's amazing! I just want a finger throttle for it. X Mode it wants to kill me lol
Yeah, stock throttle can be tricky.
@@escootIrelandI switched it to the finger throttle and it's much better for me
Very sad story, because I was almost decided to buy that scooter, seen I had the same first impression as yours.
No regrets from me. Happy with my Nami Burn E 2 Max. Changed to finger throttle and it's better feel now for me.
Really regretting my nami Burn-E 2. It's really bad, like terrible the build quality. It just breaks, and the electrical side is so poorly done. The indicators and lights are useless. The front headline is horizontal, but doesn't show ahead very far.
@@_nom_ when did you buy yours? I have the Nami max version 2 bought late last year and it's running like a champ so far.
Any updates been 6 more months?
Unfortunately, not much. Nami is still trying to push everything under the carpet and refuses to admit their fault.
@@escootIreland I was told by my local Dealer I wasn't allowed to open the desk as it would void warranty. Only after I got approval they allowed it as it would cost them $500 to ship scooter back to them and back to me for controller replacement
keep up the great work, hi from Australia
@@vemgm My opinion professional dealers should have that calculated and not expect customers to do DIY repairs. Problem with eScooter industry is that there is no proper repair network. Im pointing out about that for a while and trying to get investors to start project like that but sadly Im on my own in that and way too small. Hopefully Ill succeed one day because I would really like for eScooters to find place on the market and customers to get proper service they deserve. Governments around the world could easily fix that problem by just banning brands that dont have official repair centres in their country but sadly there is not enough interest. Thank you for watching, commenting and support. It helps out a lot.
This guy is sitting on a old version of the burn E.
The updated models that ship currently have brake light update.
My ex girlfriend mazda was also old version. 10 years old to and there was still support, aftersales care and recall on it. Being manufacturer of any products holds responsibilities.
Updating design is proof that old design isnt working and dangerous goods in regulated market get recalled. At least thats what manufacturers that care about their brand and customers do.
@@escootIreland but bro no one does after care for any of the scooters... not one lol
yea oke every brand have issue
SO what about the ABUSE==???
Well if I built €5k eScooter I would for sure do much better quality control and aftersale support. If its premium eScooter should have premium support. Chinese just dont understand how some things work. DJI, Ninebot and Xiaomi are only 3 brands coming out of china that know how to do things.
Well they do , here we buy this and seller says when buy burn e it comes with recall replacement ! Sooo thats not true word from u or u missed it out, and support well my firm i buy from take it, also klima nima dont have this problem maybe u need to update this@@escootIreland
still no abuse record from u??? what about abuse well if u have some say it! dont spit crap out!
@@patrickjohansson3076 were spinning in circle here. Im pointing out that if faults are result of abuse then why changing design? Why upgrading if stock is working perfectly fine? We dont have any teport of abuse and of course if anyone did abuse eScooter he wont say that. Most eScooters were on stock road tyres, only one had fitted hybrid tyres and one even had racing slicks on it so that one for sure wasnt used for stunts and jumps. Sadly loads of eScooters with this design have problems with stems. Sone manufacturers do a recall and some dont. Im just sharing info. You really think I wouldnt be that transparent to report abuse? Hydraulic press and project farm channels have better testing in place than some Chinese manufacturers.
OMG that stem clamp. So poorly designed! I think there is also another point of weakness in the Klima in the way the battery box is attached to the frame. Nami uses 6 tiny screws, with the threads drilled directly into the aluminium frame. I can't imagine it will hold up well after enduring the many jolts and vibrations sustained over a thousand km or so. It runs well, but the build quality is not as good as people making it to be. I was going to by a Klima but not anymore.
One of deck/battery cover screws on my burn is spinning freely. Treads werent properly done and adter opening battery compartment to fix battery I coukdnt tight it back in. Michael Sha would of course say user error. Waste of time and money.
@@escootIreland I expect as much.
@@escootIrelandthere should be a thread inserts installed where deck screws are. 1/8" aluminum wall doesn't have much power to hold these screws, jmo. I re-did mine.
@@Claud_us yeah agree. Loads of mistakes on "premium" eScooter. Michael Sha didnt do his homework unfortunately. Hopefully theyll improve in the future.
@@escootIrelandit is matter of time, I believe. Again, I got mine with all past issues addressed already.
Man you need to stop, 😂😂 you got something again nami.
Well to be honest I dont like the way Nami is dealing with problems and its customers but Im bringing more videos about other brands that also have problems. Since nobody is talking about this I decided to make videos that are different and arent there just to sell you something trough refferal links. If only there were more content creators like this I wouldnt need to do it.
@@escootIrelandneed to do it?? Who the hell asked you to? Is this your job?? At some point you need to grow up kid 😢
