- Lighting is just about everything when it comes to bringing your miniatures to life! Just like in the real world, lighting sets the mood, creates drama and excitement to a roombox, dollhouse or vignette and adds a level of realism to your miniatures. Most importantly, and at a basic level, it allows you too actually SEE all of the tiny details you don't want to miss!
Lighting however doesn’t have to be a daunting task! It’s a lot easier to accomplish than you think and today, there are more alternatives and options which cater to your own skill levels and goals.
In this broadcast, l take you through options for lighting miniatures and show you how simple it can be is brighten things up. I also share examples of how lighting can really bring your miniatures to life!

The timing of this video is so perfect for me because I’m working on a dollhouse right now and I’m at the point where I should be considering my lighting and wiring plans so this was very helpful. When I started I was not going to do lighting at all -ha!

@@DThomasMiniatures I have a huge 22 room second empire victorian dollhouse. I'd like to do the inside more in the French style. I could really use some suggestions on who can do that style of furniture, and the beautiful trim work and decorated ceilings etc. I was thinking about getting a 3D printer so I can make some of my own furniture etc, but can't seem to find out how that works and what type would be the best one to get.
