Wow! Mind blown. I’m starting an awesome (expensive) floristry course tomorrow, and I’ve been looking forward to this potential creative outlet/ career direction. But I know I have MEGA impostor syndrome. Seeing this is just so helpful ❤️.
I'm so glad I could help and be apart of your floristry journey. So exciting! You sound like a great fit for our Flower Boss Academy, definitely check it out. Especially if you are just starting out we help navigate and guide you in all the right directions. 🌸 More Information: littlebirdbloom.com.au/flower-boss-academy/
Hi, Is there any difference in pricing if a customer only wants several loose stems wrapped in tissue -cash and carry -as opposed to the price of that flower in an arrangement Example-I pay .79 a stem of carnations - what should the markup be for a loose stem shop where people can pick out their own flowers and then I wrap it in tissue Is it still wholesale x 4 or is it less of a markup for loose stems?
This is such a great question! And this is exactly the situation that led me to the x4 markup shortcut for everything. I had a hard time explaining to our team why it should be different and I just knew trying to then ramble on to customers was even worse. Many times the simplest solution is the right solution. 💖
Hi Remi, Unfortunately we don't offer florals for purchase. You are more then welcome to visit our website to check out all the awesome stuff we do offer: www.littlebirdbloom.com.au
I deal with heavy imposter syndrome when putting out pricing. I start thinking “oh but i dont even have a storefront, i work from a room in my house, i should charge less yada yada” 😭🥺😭😭😭
It's so easy to get stuck in this mindset! Just remember your work is always worthy and you can charge however much you want... because it's your business 🥰
