    Cool video. I like how you just threw stuff together by hand. Can we get recipes?

    So glad to finally find someone who used fermented rice water! I have been planning on using that in a soap and couldn't get my head around how to do it. I don't know why I didn't think of just swapping out some of the water. Great looking bars!

    Can you keep it in a liquid form instead of letting it harden into a bar like a liquid shampoo? Or would it spoil over time?

    Hi, can you pls teach me how you fermented the rice??

    • @TracyD2
      @TracyD2 3 года назад +4

      Rinse the rice a few times then cover the rice with a lot of water, then let it sit at room temperature for 24/48 hours. Longer if you want but it will start to stink more and more. There’s fermented rice.

    Do you add less water to the lye solution because ur adding in rice water or no?

    • @LuzEterna6937
      @LuzEterna6937 3 года назад

      Usually I use 1:2 lye water ratio for the lye solution

    • @grouchyowlhomemade1020
      @grouchyowlhomemade1020  3 года назад +1

      @@LuzEterna6937 Hi! I formulated this such a long time ago. Its not a soap recipe that Im altering or taking away a ratio of liquid and replacing with something else. This is my recipe so I just make it the same everytime. But yes, if your following someones recipe or altering one, youd replace a portion or all of the liquids with whatever your adding. It wouldn't saponify if you just added additional liquid without accounting for the lye water solution. Hope that helps you or answers your question.
