i have to admit, even though i have to squeeze my brain to read his books, i can sit for HOURS being still and just flip through the pages in utter silence. Even though its a heavy read, it keeps me intrigued! I have never been in that kind of silent state with other books, not even percy jackson or harry potter. Its just a whole different experience with Dan Brown!

For me is the opposite, I read so many dense fantasy and sci-fi novels that whenever I want to breathe and read something light and chill, I pick up one of his books, because it's easy on my head, is fast paced and is straight to the point.

Given. The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons receive endless appreciation and great reviews. These two novels become Brown's signature. But personally, The Lost Symbol is way better. It's well-researched just like the two prequels but its overall pacing is unforgettable. Until now, I kept thinking about it, asking myself "what if" it's true? "What if" the fiction part of the story are the characters but the rest are true? Saddest part is, I spent hours reading reviews about it and most are negative. I'm convinced with some of their opinions still it can't be denied the story stands on its own. Flaws are part of a great story, right A perfect fiction novel doesn't exist but, there's such a thing as a great story that is hard to forget. The Lost Symbol tells it all.

Angels and Demons was the first book by Brown that I read. I literally could not put it down.
Naturally, I wanted to read other books by this guy. None of them did I like nearly as much. The plots became very predictable.
While every book had different characters and settings, (which were meticulously researched and detailed throughout the books), they were the same basic character template. The plots took the same twists.
Mainly, that the surprise bad guy was no surprise at all. And the antagonist was always well meaning and had some "great and noble purpose," which made it okay to kill a few people along the way to get there and blah blah-to-the- blah blah.
I was impressed with how meticulously detailed the settings were, without distracting or bogging down the story.
Decades later, I don't even remember why I loved A&D so much. Probably because the settings in the story, (The Vatican, the Illuminati, and CERN), were interesting to me. But I'm re-reading it now, I'm on page 165 and still don't see anything grabbing my attention and not letting go.

the only problem is that he doesn’t believe in absolute truth that is found in Christianity. Too much evidence to deny and call dangerous, it’s actually very good. One thing that I love about Dan is that he knows there’s something bigger above us by looking at the stars. He is referring to the existence of God. “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”
    ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:11

I read his Da Vinci Code and realized almost immediately he is not an exacting writer when it comes to research. Remember the guy jumping out of the Louvre window and landing on the tarp of an “eighteen-wheeler?” Well, no, couldn’t have happened. There are no “eighteen-wheelers” in Paris, as anyone with a minimal knowledge of European and American heavy trucks would know. The novel struck me as a sappy regurgitation of the more outlandish conspiracy theories of ancient history, though he does have a knack for the breathless “what’s gonna happen next” baiting that is the secret sauce for any successful popular novelist.

    J.S. Grigorian
    To Dan Brown
    26.08.2022 Calais, France.
    Your hands vs. My Hands.
    YOur hands are pretty big
I am exciting to touch them
    Just at the place
    Where they are hurting
And bleeding sometimes in the night
    While you are consciously writing
    Another book, after that one.
I'd like to lick your bloody hands,
    The blood they're loosing
    Day by day,
Because I feel, that you are hurt
    And always smiling
    You're EVrej,
    I'd like to heal
    Your tired hands,
THey are so tired and exhausted
Because I am not really daughter
I am well simply Jesus Christ,
    My name is J.S. Grigorian.
So I love you and all your hands,
    They are so many,
    Understand me,
    My hands are greater
    I'm creative
    The One Creative Biggest genius!
    My hands are better!
    I love you,
    But I am saying,
    I can paint,
    Like Vincent Van Gogh,
    Prove me too,
That you are same, dear God,
    Creative!
    My hands are great,
    I am inspiring
    The whole big world
    Through my great writing!
    My hands are better
    than your hands,
    THey are well knitting
    Such great flowers,
    And scarves, so everyone admires
The greatness of my genius hands!
    My hands are small,
    But I can play
    Piano just like
    Evgeny Kissin,
    And I am writing
    Music soundtracks,
    Just like some Ennio Morricone
    Or some past away
    Amadeo Mozart!
    My hands are great,
    I write some poems,
    Where I tell you,
    My name is Jesus,
    Yet , maybe J.S. Grigorian
But I am great great God Creative,
    I did create
    All 'Lovemedo's ,
    And I created Childadoption
    Which's called 'Adoptme!"
    I love you,
    But do you have
    The same emotion?
    My hands are great,
    I am a great cook!
    So many people
    Eat from my table!
    And I created 'Lovemedo'
    These restaurants
    Are my creation!
I did create so many records
    Of my pianoplay as well,
    And if there was
    Some kind of voice then,
I did create the songs of mine!
I did created so many children
    Without knowing it as well!
Well if some run away babies
ARe maybe in your hands, dead Dan,
    It is just plainly,
    cause Brandelina
Is not the one for me anymore
    I'd live in Edinburgh,
    Next to More,
    Next to the seaside,
    Cause my brother
    Did want me be
    Next to the sea,
    Which is called 'More'
    In the Russian
    Tongue, 'cause these were
    His last last words,
'I want to see the sea, it's More'
    'Xohu uwidet' more .....'
    The End.
    J.S. Grigorian
To be edited by J.K. Rowling, 'cause she's my mother. (biological, adoptive, just mom.)
