For example touching that 4 way knob it would randomly change surround, groove, equalizer, or even change the source FM, CD, cassette. This happened with almost all the buttons. That's why after that issue developed I almost only used it with aux input and the remote.

I still use the speakers for my computer... loved this system back in the day.

Used to have one of those, great sound. Though I don't like the V-Groove prefer just the "normal" Groove.
