I can't tell you how much this kind of lesson will help me on my journey. Your lessons are very understandable and totally to the point. Your playing is beautiful as well.
I have watched your videos for years now as I go in and out of my pedal steel phases, each time getting a little better..I mostly play bass, guitar, banjo, dobro...but I really want to improve my steel playing..it is just such a monster of an instrument and my progress is like very tiny baby steps...you are such a great player and sometimes play more jazzy stuff and it's great but this is the kind of stuff I love to learn..it goes straight to my heart and this is how I want to sound..classic country and 90's ish steel stuff. do you give skype lessons, Sir? I play a modern Lloyd Green Show Pro w 3 pedals and 5 K levers
Thank you for the support! The tab and backing track are available to tiers 2 and 3 at our Patreon site in the description. RUclips does not offer a good way to offer those materials directly here, unfortunately. The RUclips membership is for early access and ad-free versions of videos as well as the monthly update post. Feel free to email us with any further questions using the email address in the video description. Thank you again and keep picking!
@@SteelPicking OK, I have upgraded to tier 2 and finally found the backing track for this video. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to locate it. Is there an easy way to get to a backing track for an associated video that you are watching other than going to your website and going through all of your backing tracks till I finally find the one that I'm looking for? That is a very time-consuming process.
Sorry for the confusion! There should be an index of all content pinned at the top of the main Patreon page. There is also a search feature on the Patreon page where you can either search for the specific video title or you can search for " Index " which will bring you to the full index showing every video, tab, and backing track that is available within a list. Thank you again and keep picking!
@@SteelPicking Thanks Aaron. I think I have figured it out. I am a true beginner. Just got my Jackson Steel Maverick HD about 10 days ago. Love it and especially enjoyed woking with Dawn, great customer service. I have looked at lots of videos and your approached is the best yet. I have accomplished a more with your approach than anything else I have tried. Looking forward to many more lessons with you. Thanks for putting up with all my questions.

What tuning are you using? Thankyou!
Danny, most of the lessons are on E9th tuning.
Thankyou so much!
In this lesson you are not using knee levers?
Also curious to see what type of thumb pick you are using. Looks really comfortable
