the brazilian elphie once answered me this, it's actually a cable holding the broom but it's way above so you can't see, and it has a nylon thread and this thread goes on the broom, when elphie hold the broom she takes it off :)
Was this around when her back was starting to hurt? I have seen in a few videos from around this time, willemijn would just kinda casually walk back to lift with no urgency at all.
@@MauritsVeen I wonder why. I was always a fan of how she did it on Broadway when she’d back up slowly with her hand extended at Glinda. It’s a small moment, but I liked it lol
I didn't record this, so I can't give you the exact seat number. But from watching the rest of the show on this recording, it is filmed from the right hand side of the front(ish) stalls. If you are interested in the exact seat number, I can see if I can find out from the master. Hope that helps :). Otherwise, if you would like to trade for it, let me know.
those ELECTRIC GUITARS?!? The London orchestra sounds so cinematic, I’m obsessed
She has to be the best Elphie in my opinion
Same I saw it yesterday for the 2nd time!
She’s definitely in the top 3. She can do it in 3 languages so that’s cool
Also my favorite though I love Idina and Kristen
Orchestra is on FIRE!
DRHPsBaby Thought so too, could they have a new orchestration?
I thought that too! I was blown away.
With her singing, every orchestra would be!
She is so good in an English accent (I mean she was amazing on Broadway), she is so much crisper. Ahhhh she is amazing
I like her London better than her Broadway actually. I think it has to do with the British style being closer to Dutch and German
Willemijn Verkaik will always be one of my favorite Elphabas
She is and will always be my favorite Elphie
WOW! I just have no words to express how I felt while I was listening to it! Goosebumps everywhere! Just amazing! Bravo! 👏🏼💚
From my only time seeing Wicked, it feels great knowing I saw a decent Elphaba in Willemijn.
That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen live and on here thank you for posting this
Amazing Elphaba! Perfection!!
She comes back in wicked yeeee
7:11 best western sky ever!!
Ella es MARAVILLOSA es mi favorita y Danna Paola.
She might actually be my 6th favorite Elphaba!
Elphaba sings defying gravity as the hero
The orchestra plays the hero’s song
Elphaba is the classic hero of Wicked
The orchestra actually nailed the hero’s song of
Defying gravity
I forgot how cool this musical was ...
sheesh that ending.. she didn't overdo it, just a perfect yet different riff! :D
How does the broom fly across the stage ?😱😀
Magic hahaha :P

Is this the matinee or evening? :O Cause I was in the evening show this day!
Mirka Karoliina It's the matinée. Hope that helps :)
WickedTheMusicalTrades Yeah, I thought so :D Thanks!
No problem! If you want to trade for it, let me know. Otherwise have a great Christmas!
Get home, come on now ❤️

Yep this was when she started having issues, however I just looked at videos from her 2017 run and she kept the slow walk to the lift

I have a full audio of a Wicked show (Willemijn and Alli, 2-12-13) if you'd be willing to trade.

Where were you sat?

Are you only trading for this? Or would you consider gifting it? :)
How is it possible for someone who is not originally from London to do the character?
She was in the German and Dutch productions
And on Broadway.
