My daughter is 20 and she has Aspergers, a form of autism. What you say just takes me back to when she was younger. When I finally accepted it and stopped trying to make her “fit in” and just embrace her as he was things were much more peaceful.

You both have the most beautiful curly hair so I hope your kids inherited that from you. My husband and I grew up near each other and went to the same junior HS and High school, but we did not travel in the same social circles. About 5 years after HS my best friend (we all went to same schools) met my husband in Manhattan and he asked if she knew any nice girls. She whipped out my picture and said " have I got the girl for you". Then she called me and I remembered him and said she could give him my number. We started dating, got engaged after 3 months and married 9 months later. Now married 44 years! Also, we have a daughter with special needs so I know a lot of the feelings and difficulties you have faced. It can either pull you apart or bring you closer together and at times it can be hard work. I think you guys are doing a great job!!!

Your relationship solidifies the saying "opposites attract". It's true. My hubby is quite, hardworking at everything, hilarious, introverted and very open hearted. I am not quite (not loud tho), passionate, extroverted, selectively hardworking and will procrastinate.

You actually do have the perfect marriage and family. No one person is perfect, therefore the trick is finding the "perfect" person for "you." Clearly you have done that. Marriages that fall apart typically do so because one or both spouses put something or someone before each other. It's always refreshing to hear people speak openly about their faith. The world would be a much better place if more people understood how important it is.

Loved this video and thank you for sharing your struggles and how you overcame the hard times with the start of the family. Your daughter is very lucky to have such a loving family that didn't give up to find out what was wrong at an early age. Denial is normal, but you continued to strive to find an answer.

I thought a lot of what I should write to you. I felt your honesty, harmony, struggle and love. I cried when your husband said that god sent your daughter to you because he knew you will take care of her and that is because my husband said to me the exact same thing when we were struggling at the time we had our daughter. Thank you for the update on your daughter. Health challenges, especially with children, can make or break a couple. I got pregnant late in life and we had just gotten used to the idea then I miscarried and had to have an emergency hysterectomy. Throughout the entire emotional experience I have never felt closer to my hubby. He was so strong and supportive yet so open with his own feelings as well. That is rare for him so that made me love him even more ❤️A person’s true character shines through during these times and it sounds like you see it in each other every day. What a beautiful couple you are 🙏🏼 Your friends and family are blessed to have a seat at your table 💞 🌸
I so agree with you Ally. Hardships and struggles really make a couple so much stronger and he brings you together. I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I bet that was so hard and sad. In terms of the salon, The salon is still up and going but two of my friends are managing it so I am really not involved in it for now. I have the chance to go back if I want to, but for now it just seems too much.

I have not been following for long but I absolutely love having found someone with similar features and about the same age doing make up. I did enjoy this video. You two are so good together and I love that you don’t put your children out there. Absolutely sharing the dream about a farm 😂 so I don’t find that boring at all. But as we are moving every two years I think that’s a distant dream for us.
Haha my husband does the same thing. He cleans the whole house and I love him for that but he always forgets the high chair 😂

My husband also does not complete 100%. Same exact thing with the dishes. He’ll leave one spoon and a glass or he will vacuum and not put the vacuum away or miss a couple of spots 😂. But I appreciate that he’s always willing to help me. I also am a procrastinator. I do my best work on a time crunch 😝. At least that’s what I tell myself. We have four kids and one has special needs. Really enjoyed this video. I think it’s wonderful that you both compliment each other so well.
