Sorrow Performance I know that was shocking but I still can’t believe that gavin is running rooster teeth now but that would explain why the office is a giant moonball
With regards to the advert conversation at like 1:00:00 The Muppets Show used to kind of do this, where they would speed up the show in America slightly so they could fit more ads in, but they didn't in the UK, so they would show something called the 'UK Spots' which was basically just extra content but it wouldn't include the guest stars and it couldn't affect the plot.
Anyone ever have that moment where something you're passionate about is very slightly incorrectly explained and you wanna go nuts about it, but you gotta make yourself commit to being a better person than that and keep moving? This podcast is made of those today.
12:44 As far as i know: deaf= no hearing Hard of hearing= small amount of hearing Hearing impaired= both, can also include the temporarily hard of hearing or deaf
Maybe because Deaf is more correct than hearing impaired. People with Tinnitus and hearing aids are hearing impaired, but not deaf. And maybe deaf people want to be clear and exact in regarding their disability.
I thought the cat was: the cat is in the box, and there's some kind of poison that will be released by a radioactive emitter. As radioactive decay is spontaneous and random, you have no way of ACTUALLY knowing if the trigger has gone off unless you look, so until you look the cat can be both alive and dead - the states superimpose because you haven't observed it. Also the double slit experiment is my fave.
58:32 watching this a week after this actually happend... And lol at 1:02:30 Gavin Talks about something he actually mentions in last weeks episode as well.
Anyone know how to catch a Bear? Go out in to the woods, find an open area. Dig a hole about 8 or 9 feet deep and about 6 feet wide. Then take ashes and charcoal from a fire pit and put them in the bottom of the hole. After that, use canned peas and line the out side of the hole with peas about 2 inches apart from each other. After that hide in a near by bush, Wait for a Bear to come take a "pea" and kick him in the "ash hole".
Both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker were forged on Nidavellir, which uses the focused heat from "the heart of a dying star" to heat the metal called Uru in order to forge it...
Also, Neil DeGrasse Tyson explained the particle physics dilemma on Joe Rogan's podcast 2 appearances ago...what was happening was that the particle was so small and so susceptible to outside interference that (if I recall correctly) the light or equipment used to watch it happen would affect the trajectory of the particle...he equated it to if you drop something into the crack of your car seats or couch cushions and the act of reaching your hand in spread the cushions enough for the object you dropped to continually be out of reach by slipping further into the crack...
You can freeze milk, just make sure there is room for the expansion of the milk as it freezes otherwise it may break the bottle. Only issue is how long it takes to defrost.
at 1:20:00 ish....Bernie is talking about a movie called "what the bleep...down the rabbit hole" interesting movie and DVD since the dvd plays tracks in a random order and should never be the same twice
My local news station took out an ad in the local Time slot during the super bowl but some thing went wrong so it was just 5 second of the end of their ad then black for about a minute
To answer Gavin's question about the new elements, it is really hard to create new elements because it requires you to collide elements together at high energy to fuse them together. As he said, the elements have half-lives of nanoseconds so they are basically gone as quickly as they form and in order to successfully say the element was created it has to be detected and in theory, each new element is more unstable then the last so the half-lives are shorter which makes it harder to detect without making a sizable amount. A lot of time is probably lost to theory and modeling since the cost of operation can rack up quickly.
Chris confused about a relatively mundane matter on a podcast? I am shocked! *note: I posted this one second into the video. Just making a prediction.*
39:10 Yes milk can be frozen. But once it thaws you will have to shake container to remix it, because the milk (mixture) will separate. My Grandmother use to keep a gallon of milk frozen for when we visited. I made mistake of pouring it in my cereal without shaking it once...yuk.
Them talking about eating animals reminds me of my proudest joke; Vegetarian at the table says “I don’t eat anything with a face.” I replied “Everything I eat, died screaming.” My pastor laughed and shot water out his nose.
Lately the broadcast department has really dropped the ball on pulling up stuff the cast talks about...I remember Gus would talk about something and in the next 3 seconds they had it on screen. Now i have to pause the podcast every 5 minutes to look up what they're talking about.
You can easily make peanut butter with a food processor. Just take a pound jar of roasted peanuts, couple table spoons of rice oil, maybe some honey if you want. Blend it up, yum.
Oh my god, I didn't even remember the Chuck-e-Cheese stamps until they brought it up. They would give you a numbered stamp (I think) when you walked in and it only showed up in ultraviolet lighting. As a kid, I didn't find it strange, since a lot of other kid-oriented places at the time would also give patrons and kids a stamp, just so they would know if you paid to get in
Schrödinger's cat experiment is actually pretty cool. It basically locks a cat and a contraption that breaks a vile of poison in a box. Since the vile can be broken at any random time, they use the quantum superposition state to say that technically the cat is both dead and alive at the same time. The cat remains dead and alive until it is observed. The point is when does quantum superposition end and reality decides to choose an outcome.
Skunks have a gland that creates the spray and it can be removed and they can be box trained like a cat. It's not legal to have a skunk as a pet in Texas. The animal must be specially trained to be a service animal and as part of the ADA it is only legal to ask if it's a service animal and what it does. If you go through a doctor and the proper channels you can get a service animal for mental disorders like PTSD. The kicker is a trained animal can cost thousands of dollars and several people with disabilities can't afford that.
In regards to weddings and clapping; In a Russian Orthodox wedding, it's considered rude to clap at the end of a ceremony. Found this out the hard way at my friends wedding.
Burnie: I don't think you can freeze milk Barbara: what about ice cream? Burnie: Thats different. No burnie its not different ice cream is frozen milk with other stuff added for flavor. there is an experiement you can do with your where you put milk, vanilla, and sugar in a ziploc bag and put it in a bigger bag with ice and salt(salt makes the ice colder)and massage the bags until the smaller bag turns into ice cream.
episode 905 we've come a long way boys.
Zach Huesgen yeah we have. It’s as if 508 was only last week.
yeah, it just feels like 508 was last week
maybe Gav used his slow mo powers?
Aw they fixed the typo
Don't assume my gender pal
wait.. if Gav used his slow mo skills, we would still be on 508 :I
edit: If he used it on us, and not the rest of the world however..
Big fan of the RT Podcast. Been listening since 600.
I've been watching since 200

Well cuz of the sacrifice humanity has made it to Andromeda so it wasnt in vain
Praise be to the moonball king
Im coming back here at episode 763.
"I wanna look my animal in the eye as I eat it" - Gavin Free 2018 (36:26)
I must've missed a lot of podcasts
Only about 300 or so podcasts not much at all
They should leave the title the same and when the real 905 comes out they should name it 509
Chicken 00000000000000001 “when”
THEY CHANGED UT FYUCK
Chicken 00000000000000001 Pork
2026 would be the year 905 comes out. Would they still be making this podcast in 2026? I would be 28 lol
@@devilsmusic1327 if you asked them the same thing about 2018 back in 2009 they'd have laughed at you.

Wow, can't believe it is already 2026
I really appreciate that you did that math
Close enough
Almost
Lol was coming to say the same thing😅
Anyone ever have that moment where something you're passionate about is very slightly incorrectly explained and you wanna go nuts about it, but you gotta make yourself commit to being a better person than that and keep moving? This podcast is made of those today.
I want them to keep the title to confuse everyone
Podcast 905 ? THE DEVICE WORKED!
whats it like in 2020 part 9?
You guys already talked about most of these topics in Podcast #857, great podcast anways
Gus won’t be happy when he sees that it says 905.... I can hear Gus now... “WHHHHHUT DID YOU DO?!”
Answer to, "What is the most Jewish weapon?": The Morning-star-of-David
Don't you mean the Mourning Star of David? ~ I'll just show myself out now...
Answer to, "What is the most Jewish weapon?"
Interest on money, nepotism, infiltration, misinformation, and societal degradation.
Did Gavin completely forget about Path of Neo...fantastic reintegration of the film.

Man i love Chris
Congratulations on 900 episodes guys, been listening since episode 20.
42:32 I’m actually on a keto diet where I drink shots of olive oil.
Every podcast with Chris is a gift
Maybe because Deaf is more correct than hearing impaired. People with Tinnitus and hearing aids are hearing impaired, but not deaf. And maybe deaf people want to be clear and exact in regarding their disability.
Bighippie00 yes that’d be the difference between Deaf and deaf, capital D for the culture, lowercase d when referring to hearing impairment

"is saying hearing impaired offensive?"
doesn't matter they wouldn't hear you say it anyway.
You can definitely freeze milk... Grandma does it all the time to preserve it, and we unfreeze and drink it after the expiration date. Tastes fine..
These podcast stories were very good this week!!
I was having a bit of a bad few days and this made me laugh all the way through so thank you guys, thank you so much
It's weird knowing that this Chris talking about elements is the same guy that talked about fish being the opposite of air lol

I just had to watch Citizen Kane for my film class so I got excited when Burnie mention it

I got to see Chris and Elle at Fan expo, which was cool. Didn't get the chance to talk to them, but I shared a smile and wave with Elle.
That's cool, I wanted to go so bad but did t make it
One of the better Podcasts in a while (not that the others are bad). Lot of good moments here
The flame the person is getting who captioned this title. 😂

The difference between a punt and a dropkick is that the ball hits the ground first with a dropkick.
The last 30 mins literally turned into a science class!
Brilliant 905 podcast seems like I just started watching 14 years ago now so many years...
50:00 Best joke ever!!! This needs to be animated!
You know youre a big fan if youve stuck around for 900+ episodes. Like us.
A drop kick, while similar to a punt, is when you drop the ball and kick it qfter it has bounced on the ground. It commonly occurs in Rugby Union
