Hi Dr Dray I have a video suggestion... can you please talk about the clothing that have sun protection (how does it work, the protection goes away with time? is it really worthed? To me it seems very expensive!) and also if you use long sleeves even though they aren’t the coolibar productos you mentioned in the past, are you protected? It would be really helpful to know more about this products and also protect not only our faces but all over. Thank you

Enjoyed your review, as I always do. My favorite Korean masks are the Karuna brand, as they have a nice thickness to them, fit my face well, and enough essence in the package to use again the next day if refrigerated. They can be found at TJ Maxx as well as Marshalls for 6.99 box of 5 masks.

Wow this month is flying by. I look forward to your video everyday. What oh what shall we do on October 31 when all the fun ends!!! Update on my daughter in college. She had a panic attack again Tuesday. Thankfully we got her in touch with the onsite nurse practitioner and she's having her seek counseling on campus which brings me to the mental health video. I had her view it. I can't thank you enough.
Prayers for your daughter Ms Julie! College is a stressful time with lots of adjustments and transitions that can take a toll on our emotional health. I hope the Betterhelp tool and video are helpful to her and I will be thinking of her today :)
I subscribed about a week ago and am enjoying your videos and the great information you are sharing. I'm a retired MD so much of this is not new to me but it is so nice to see a doctor talk about skin care issues and cut through all the unsubstantiated information in a way that is understandable and entertaining. Nothing like real science! You have helped me to find good, affordable products that aren't irritating (including sunscreen). Have you seen the new eucerin body/face cleanser? (called advanced cleansing-$12.99 for 16.9oz at walgreens). It claims a pH of 5, fragrance and soap free. It's nice and lets those of us who just can't quite give up a little lather get gentle cleansing. Anyway, thanks for all the education!

I transfer extra serum from sheet masks to an empty jar and apply it later to some Nooni toner mask sheets I bought at Ulta online. They are inexpensive, 60 to a box and don't shed like cotton rounds. You apply them to specific parts of your face.

My favorite brand of tea is Harney and Sons. My absolute favorite is their Hot Cinnamon Spice, but I have more than 10 of their flavors and I love them all. Tropical green, Paris, Chocolate mint, and Vanilla Comoro are a few of my other top faves

in theory, yes, because of the principle of wet wrap therapy...however, the ingredients in most masks (fragrance, botanic oils) are not great for skin and can often times cause problems...i am on the hunt for one i could recommend

I just tried the Tony Moly EGF mask. It was SCENTED, but thankfully, I don’t seem to be sensitive to it. It has made my face feel very “new” which is nice, at 36.

I can't live without coffee either but restrict it to one cup in the morning. I drink green tea and hibiscus tea throughout the day to get antioxidants. My daughter uses my leftover green tea bags to depuff her eyes which seems to help. Thanks again for another fun video.

What do you think about ice rolling? Is it o any benefit to skin? Would applying ice to any cystic acne help or hurt?
no...applying ice to a painful acne cyst can help alleviate discomfort and the urge to pick, which is good, but no need to go freezing your entire face
I tried the Lab masks and the lady in the Tony Moly store said the caviar one is the most polular and I can see why. The moisturising affect was longer lasting😊

Like many others on here I am a huge fan of your site since I came across your channel. I'm soo happy to see you love Neutrogena as I have been using this brand for years and love it. I also purchased 12 different Korean face masks as my skin is extremely dry. I have used 2 of the lab ones and some others and can without a doubt say my skin has definitely improved. I even used my derma roller then put 1 on and used my Neutrogena hydro boost after and couldn't get over the next day how great my skin looked and felt.

Woot another Dr Dray vlog! I have been wondering what you think of some of the Asian BB and CC creams. They are supposed to have good skincare ingredients but who knows? I use one called Lioele Triple the Solution BB cream SPF 30 +++. Curious if you have any opinions on products like that.

Hi Dr. Dray! I have a question regarding sunscreens, and I value your opinion. I just want to get your thoughts on this: I have a medium / olive skin tone and whenever I wear a physical sunscreen, I get that dreaded white cast, even when the label says that it has none. I was wondering what your thoughts are about mixing foundation drops into the sunscreen to tint it. Would this degrade the protecting abilities of the sunscreen? I have the NYX Total Control Drop Foundation and I don't really like it as a standalone foundation and was trying to put it good use! Thanks for your help! I love watching your videos and learning about skincare.
you could try that Ms Kristina....sadly the white cast is the best indicator of the kind of protection darker skin types need...it tends to occur with those sunscreens that offer the best protection against the wavelengths of light that contribute to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation/dark spots in skin of color

Great videos I’ve been really enjoying watching them! I am a big tea drinker can’t drink coffee makes me sick. A few teas that I like are Tazo passion tea ,Twinlings Earl Grey, and a Teavana tea that you can get at Starbucks or Teavana.com jade citrus mint.

I love them...i purchased more goji berries on iherb and need to crack into them for a recipe sometime. My problem is, though, I eat them straight out of the bag and they never make it into a recipe, lol

I have learned so much from you but I have a question about sunscreen. I use a 50spf plus I use Cerave am and love it.....but I often add a few drops of my current foundation to the Cerave @ mix it in my palm to faintly tint it before applying to my face. Is that okay? Katherine Henríquez In my experience it's the essence that does wonders. Hydration is the key. You can buy essence from cosrx or a hydrating toner from Hada labo (they call toners lotion in Japan)
I live in PA and have noticed just recently that the skin on my face seems tight and dry after I do my usual evening Skincare. I'm assuming it's the onslaught of cooler weather. Can u recommend a great evening facial moisturizer to help the dry feeling? Something full of skin loving ingredients? Something with skin brightening ingredients would b a bonus as I have malasma. Any suggestions?

Sheet masks in my opinion is a waste of money. I used to buy boxes of them, then came across hygiene issues, the efficacy of the masks, etc. Unfortunately K-Beauty masks almost always have whitenining ingredients which I'm not fond of so I stopped buying them.

the american one or the european one? I haven't tried the european one yet, but i did not care for the american one at all and it is overpriced here
Yes, I was referring to the US one. I live in Canada and it is the American one we have. But thanks to your quick answer, I will stay clear of it!
