Coach I'm so glad for you brother. You inspire me because I'm not sure why but my son and my daughter aren't talking to me for decades. I raised both of them from very young and never physically disciplined them. I kept trying to call and visit them but its apparent they don't want to talk to me and it's devastating to me. But I feel your joy and am so glad for you bro. I was raised in an east coast neighborhood similar to Compton called North Philly. Statistically like you I should be dead or in jail but I survived and guys like you inspire me to keep going forward
It's honestly really sad how much her mom muddied the waters in her head. Blocking Jason even after knowing he's a public figure and on national tv shows. Honestly, I went through this with my family. My dad came and did like a rescue mission when I was eight years old. It really breaks my heart because I can tell she’s made her mind up as a child to follow the mother’s advice and narrative.

I appreciate you sharing this because it let's me know that I'm doing right. Sometimes I even feel like I'm forcing my son's dad to do more. I don't believe in the child support, hostility, negativity, or bad blood. It only hurts the child and it's really hard but we have to think of the babies. Life is more peaceful too. All three of us go to the park, we had dinner together the other night, we go shopping for the baby. No lines are crossed. We are literally rebuilding and fighting for a friendship. We also keep third parties put of the situation until we solid and until our son gets much older. If we're not our best, we definitely don't need any catalysts like significant others in the mix. Fuck no and it's all worth it. I'm so happy for you guys. Sorry for the lost time.
So I had my kids from the time my son was 6 months and daughter was 3.5.. til they were 9 and 12. I always made a point to NEVER bash the mother because I always said the kids would grow to be young adults and the truth would come out and they would resent me. Mom's back around now.. and they tend to be with the mother more than me. Can't help but have my feelings hurt over it but I do feel like I did the right thing for my kids. Woman tend to do things the way your kids mother did.. and im sure if the roles were reversed for me I would have been in the same situation as you. Its a shame. But dammit this video warmed my heart. Im so happy you got to connect.. I remember feeling for you watching the first season and you mentioned your situation. I was kinda in the same situation with my daughters mom in her early years, but thankfully, we got things worked out and could eventually get along. Like I said I put on that benefit for her, which she is fine now. I hope you and your daughter bond is super strong today. Good luck in your endeavors and ICC sucks now. Lol
