- I’ve been meaning to get to this one for a while now! In this video we react to Ukraine’s entry for Eurovision 2004, “Wild Dances” by Ruslana!

I remember when this was played for a first time on Irish radio and they made fun of it. They said this could never win. :)
I was a child when Ruslana won the Eurovision Song Contest and from that time on I became interested in this competition.
Yes, this is their first victory, but to be fair, they only debuted a year before in 2003, so I guess that is a pretty good achievement 😊 And yes, they “only” won twice so far (but have a lot top 10 places as well).
I really love this winner, probably somewhere in my top 10 for sure 😍 Also the opening scene with horns was also included in the Love Love Peace Peace song 😊
"I want you to want me." Oh I do, Ruslana. I definitely do.
You are not the only one.
Yes I am so happy you did this one! This is my favorite ❤️
Of course!!
Superperformance ! Bravo 😁 Ruslana.
That was Ukraine's second appearance in ESC and they managed to win so quickly. They debuted in 2003.
But in all seriousness the Ukrainian version is MUCH BETTER than this bilingual version. It's a shame that Ruslana didn't decide to perform an Ukrainian version. The performance was perfect... the song wasn't. It should've been in Ukrainian.
ruclips.net/video/clEGEoHNZgo/видео.html - you ABSOLUTELY should react to Ukrainian version. At least in music video.
That version appeared in GTA IV's Vladivostok FM and Ruslana was a DJ of that radio station.
You've got to do Lordi if you haven't already Finland 2006.
Please react on Dancing Lasha Tumbai (Ukraine 2007.). :)
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I heard before Eurovision preparation, Ruslana and her band broke few stages because of too much intensive dance force, not sure if it was true.
😂😂
It's true) Ruslan said that they broke the stage on rehearsal)
🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦💪🏻😎🔥🔥🔥
Good morning Jordan :-)
Morning 😁
Ukraine and Russia still got along back then even during the revolution. My best friend is a pro-Russian Ukrainian girl, her sister was even more pro-Russian than her but she became extremely anti-Russian with the war. That song was, as far as I remember, an homage of Ruslana to her great grand father who had been a Cossack, an ethnic group spattered between Russia and Ukraine with their own rules, communities, and system of government, characterized also by men and women being equal when no society was like that, etc.
We were at the home of my godfather back in that Eurovision, it was one of the longest, it ended at 02:00 in the morning and both my father, me, and my godfather wanted them to win, but the girls didn't, guess why :P
PS: I am pro-Russian, but that song oh god oh fuck.
💛💙💛💙💛💙🤟
If you're into chiptune music, I absolutely recommend to listen to Wild Dances chiptune.
ruclips.net/video/VfaAH-yERnI/видео.html - this is a legitimate banger.
It's a shame that we have almost no ESC songs chiptunes or 8-bit or 16-bit remixes.
Would you please consider reacting to Ireland’s winning song in 1994 Rock And Roll Kids? That was one of the nicest and mellow winning songs and it was performed exceptionally well.
Definitely!

Troll.
You should watch Ukraine 2019 that was disqualified by Ukraine because she had concerts in Russia. If she went to Israel Ukraine would win it for a third time.
Lol oh I’m very familiar with what would have been Ukraine 2019, I remember watching Vidbir that year and being so excited that she won. I started watching Eurovision just after the 2017 show.
Democratic Ukraine lol.
