Hello, my name is Autumn, and ever since I can remember I would look at the cloud filled sky’s, while my parents yelled at me to come inside, “it’s not safe”, they said. I never listened to their warnings, until, the first time I saw a tornado. Back then We didn’t have a basement. Which in my opinion is suicide because we live smack right in the middle of tornado alley, Wichita Kansas. My mother rushed me and my twin sister into the car and we headed to my Nana’s. I stared in awe as we passed the funnel. On that night I decided I was going to be a meteorologist...I was in 1st grade. Sounds ridiculous, right? Well if you think that was just an empty dream your wrong. Because since that day I’ve never forgot. I’m a sophomore in high school, I’ve planned out everything. And I can’t wait to be a tornado chaser, look out in a few years your gonna have some competition 😉
Never thought of looking for footage on YT!! ❤ My first tornadoes as a Floridian who enjoys a good 5-day cone of uncertainty. I encounterd a totally unfazed local EMT under an overpass. He was riding out the "pesky" hail while I Sharpie markered my blood type and allergies! The closest bar had dozens of weather buggies. 😊 I bet it's a fun community in a mix-bag kinda way. ❤

So I watched your show on Netflix and I enjoyed it alot. Slow start, but it's not like you can control weather with the wave of your hand haha. Anyway, I just saw a compilation of various tornado videos caught in the action and noticed that awesome orange truck! I was like "Wait a sec...is that Tornado Hunters?" Immediatd confirmation by Greg yelling "Back it up Ricky! BACK IT UP!" You guys are awesome and fun to watch. Keep up the crazy shit you call work and stay safe guys. I am personally a little terrified by tornadoes but damn do that fascinate me.

You have no idea how much I envy you. They most likely will not be visiting South Carolina any time soon. The most dangerous tornado we have had was only an EF2. Dumb South Carolina being safe.
