If we keep any body in an inclined way as shown in figure, then we have to determine the hydrostatic forces (Forces given by water or fluid) on the inclined body. I hope u understood. Like that there are horizontal body, vertical body & curved body resting in still fluid. Example When dam is full of water, at that time water is not moving. But we have to determine the forces acting on the submerged body.
