I'm so glad to see the historical romances back! I miss watching you gush and excited about them! Historical romances are a special place for me- this genre was my pathway back to books after childhood.
This video got hidden in my feed, 😱 so just watched it now. I really need to make HRs higher on my priority TBR. I also need to get back to the Maiden Lane series, of which I've read the first 4. So many good books in this video! Definitely added a few to my want to read list. 💗 Thanks, Jenn! 😊
I've actually read seven of these and a few of the others are on my TBR. . Unclaimed sound really good and adding to the never ending list. Historical Romance is might be my favorite romance sub genre.
So many great authors and books. I love historical romance and have been trying to read more. I'm trying to make my way through all of Lorraine Heath's books. ❤❤
this is such good timing, I've been wanting to get into the historical romance world but I have no clue where to start, so this is a perfect overview, thank you for taking time to make this!
I have only read one out of all of these. Kingdom of Dreams was actually the first novel of any genre that I read when I was a senior in high school. I purchased all of Judith McNaught’s books after that and loved every single one. Judith McNaught, Julie Garwood, Stephanie Laurens, Heather Graham, Nicole Jordan, Claudia Dain are my favorites to this day.
I've actually read 4 of these. I'm a little surprised that you didn't mention Julie Garwood. Her books are great. I thought you would have The secret for the S.
Proud to say I've read 8 of the 25 and have two more on my TBR. I also picked up three to add to my TBR. For Susan Wiggs, I've read her Great Chicago Fire trilogy and enjoyed it (I never mind a bit of actual history thrown in). But my all-time favorite historical will always be "Night in Eden" by Candice Proctor. I've also finished the whole Mackenzie/McBridge series by Jennifer Ashley this year and just sigh every time Ian makes an appearance in one of the books. Ian's love for Beth (and their children) is just "chef's kiss"! "A Mackenzie Family Christmas" where Ian explains the reason he loves his Chinese bowls is because their perfection makes him of Beth's skin! (sigh)
You forgot Julie Garwood & Jude Deveraux. Who, in my opinion, are 2 of the beat historucal romance writers who ever wrote. Rabdom & A Knight In Shining Armor are 2 of the vest boojs I ever read. ❤

I don’t read a lot of historical romances but I do love Never Seduce a Scot, the Madness of Lord Ian McKenzie and When the Earl Met His Match! ❤❤❤
🥰🥰🥰 Yesss!!! I'll get you there eventually. Hahaha!

Lols! Can only fit 25! 😂 I've actually also only read 2 of her books. She's a classic for sure! I also wanted to do Shana. 🤷♀️

Can you do romance tropes A-Z
Maybe! That's much more complicated... because it's not just 1 book per category. 😂 it's 26 categories with multiple books.
I may die.
@@TheBookRefugeonly if you want to…you can still do one book per trope haha
Ill think on it. I'd have to brainstorm. It's a cool idea for sure!
