    You are hands down the most informative and helpful guy on youtube concerning fishing. You actually teach people how to catch fish. You don't just talk about your favorite baits and colors like tactical bassin. I love tactical bassin, but they never really reveal anything to you about how to find fish and really catch them. Ever since I've been watching your videos, I've been catching more fish, and I'm even in a kayak! Thank you so much for making this content free and available! Keep up the good work!

    Hi Jonny, I was just introduced to your RUclips series last week by a good friend. I have already watched about 10 of you videos. Great Stuff. I really have learned a lot from you in a short period of time. On this video you mentioned looking at viewers home lakes and suggesting spots. If you get a moment I would Love to have you look at a reservoir I fish . It is "Lake Nockamixon" near Perkasie, PA. My dilemma is I would really like to learn to fish deeper. But after watching a couple of your videos, I do not see the tell tale ledges on the Nock. So I was hoping to get some insight from you as I get ready to get out there after the lake thaws..... Thanks for you time and keep up the Good Work!! Take care, Hugh

  • @timarthur1520
    @timarthur1520 6 лет назад +1

    Dude I just stumbled onto your channel and Thank you got finally showing methods of topical maps. I noticed you are targeting northern points is that due to temps being higher in cooler temps?

    • @FishtheMoment
      @FishtheMoment  6 лет назад

      I'm glad you liked the video! I don't think it mattered which side of the lake the point was on because I was fishing so deep. The water temps were pretty consistent on both sides of the creek and I caught some nice ones on the south side of that creek too. I just didn't have time to put them all in the video. I do like fishing banks and points on the north side of the lake once water temps get in the 50 degree range, though, because they are protected from the north wind and bass prefer to spawn on the north side of a lake.

    Much respect for your treatment of the fish, getting them back in the water after getting what you need out of them. Most anglers would let them sit in the box all day. Tournament fishing is one thing, but for videos there is no need for it. I don't like to eat largemouth....but white bass are pretty tasty. I just started watching your vids, why did you call that bass a Kentucky? I live in KY and we have a bass species called KY bass but it is like a small red eye rock bass, they don't get that big. Just curious.

    Question: So after being a co-angler for 5 years I finally purchased my own bass boat and will need to start working on breaking down new bodies of water etc. in my own.
    Do you have a video or can you tell me from start to finish how to break down a lake using Google Earth and other software?
    I just really don't know what to do when going to a new body of water to locate potential good fishing spots because as a co-angler, most of that work was always some by the boater I was with.
    Let me know what you think.
