In this camp, I am building a stone shelter in the forest. Then I cover it with a tarpaulin. I'm making a fire pit in my shelter. I cook bbq and delicious meals during the camp. It is raining heavily. I really enjoyed this adventure in the forest with my dog. I hope you like it too.

Hello from Oklahoma! The Old River Rat here. Good Video! I've been watching you for some time now, always a lot of work on your part. Interesting choice of a spot to set up camp. I was a Boy Scout back in the mid 70's. We were taught never camp in a bottom or ravine. It's better to camp mid way up a hill or in the protection of the trees if you're on a flat. Always look for the 4w's. Anyway, fun video, your hound is a big help. Thanks for all You Do! God Bless!
Hello thanks for your nice comment. Yes, what you say is true. The place where I built the shelter is not a place where water from a large area collects. Even if it rains heavily throughout the day, there is no risk of flooding where my shelter is located. The place where I camped is a high altitude place. In heavy rain, there may be flooding in the lower parts of the valley, but there is no such risk where I camped.

I just love watching you cooking it makes me feel like as if I am there with you but for the food part and how you look after your dog so well you can tell there is a very close bond between you both I like this as I love animals I watch other movies like you make other people have dogs in them but there is never any feeding or playing with their animals love your films very much .

I enjoy relaxing and watching your RUclips. How do you keep water from flowing down to hill into your tent? Keeping dry must be difficult even with a fire. Good camping.

I like these older videos better. His new ones are all in ff. Where you used to get 30 mins now you only get about 9. And 5 of that is him cooking.

What I find interesting in all these videos is..... when you are hiking about, how do you know where you are going to set up your shelter? Are there tell tale signs that clue you in as to where to start building? Things you look for that make the proposed site... "The One?" Please... do tell!!!!

A dry wood is always a firewood regardless if its a twig branch or stump straight or crooked. Nothing is wasted.

Question … in some videos yours and others I notice that after you are done with your shelter aside from leaving your tarp as cover why do you and others that bushcraft why do you break down the camp … why not leave it for someone else to add on to the camp or shelter. If it became an emergency someone else could take shelter in it … thanks again

I’m adopting a dog in less than 8 hours. She’s actually still a pup, but she is spayed so my only real concern with a pup over a dog is eliminated. Anyway, she’s my first and I hope she’ll enjoy watching your videos with me. Very relaxing ❤

Why did you destroy the camp before you left after all that work ?
First rule of thumb for camping: Don't set up camp in areas that could pose a threat to the camper. The bottom of a valley is definitely not an IDEAL place to camp. Even though Mr Wargeh is very sure that the place he camped is perfectly safe, and we can trust his expertise, it is not a good example for camping beginners. I hope Mr Wargeh could have a more clear disclaimer to tell beginners: "Kids, don't try this at home, Uncle Wargeh have many experiences, so it's fine to put my own life at risk,".
Taking risk is okay, especially if you are risking your own life, but do be aware that When there is a sheet, there is a fan, and if there is a chance the sheet will hit the fan, Sheets WILL Hit The Fan (As Murphy's law states). And when SHTF, you won't have a chance to regret it. I have seen many hiker videos, and I know there are many, many cases of experienced hikers died because they are too confident and made bad decisions that led to their demise. Just don't make a bad examples for less experienced campers. It's never too much to be too careful about your camp location. In the end, It's your choice, it's your life.
I know I might get a lot of hate for posting this, but as the old Chinese words of wisdom says: Good medicine, while bitter, can save your life.
What a shame to build such a nice shelter then have to tear it down. The food looked awesome.
