Hi Daniel, glad you liked the video. I can't disclose the exact block as the boy's will be annoyed but it is on the Landsborough River - South Westland.
Great selective hunting, and awesome to see a healthy population of animals. A few of those bulls had amazing looking skins and would have made beautiful mounts even though they were under the 12.
@@AJProductions-films The wilderness blocks were opened for the purpose of tahr control by rec hunters. There were few tahr where this is filmed pre block ballots. It shows rec hunters access provision (which took several difficult years to get endorsed) was a waste of time.
Wow, that was amazing. You lads did well, the photography, outstanding. Thank you all.
Thanks Deb. Glad you enjoyed it.
another awesome trip Allan, cheers for sharing, look forward to more
Awesome hunting video 👍
Good going guys, thanks for sharing, bueat country up there. I reckon that close bull on day 2 had to go 12inchs. ( in my humble opinion)
Hi Chris, yes that close Bull probably would go 12 inch or more. Both Grant and me (Allan) have not been great an estimating Horn length!!

Thanks Wild Kai. Yes some of the Bulls did have amazing skins but it is good to be selective about what we take.
