I've been celibate...but my right hand hasn't. No seriously...I went 7 years without sex but only because I wanted just one particular person, Brenda. I'm still in love with her after 36 years.
I sometimes ask, am I cheating myself or anyone else because I have given up on dating? I've turned and quietly walked away following my own path .. during my life long journey. What about a Soulmate? .. is there one special person out there who's life is affected by my inaction? .. I recently wrote an entry in my diary to my Soulmate, if, I may .. here it is, I will publicly admit that I might have a "near Soulmate" somewhere on this planet. She might be in a small isolated village in Northern Lapland .. or maybe on a remote cattle ranch in Central Argentina. Although I shy away from any and all intimate relationships .. she would be the one who would possibly make my life more complete with the least amount of danger .. if I were to pair up. The problem is that during my limited lifespan .. our paths will never cross .. in other words, she and I will never-ever meet. As I sail on in my journey, when I visit Europe, I will leave an empty chair at the table of that outdoor cafe somewhere on a street in Portugal .. and, yes, I will think of her as I glance across the table past the vase with a single flower. I hope, maybe once or twice during her life, she thinks of me when she sees an empty chair .. I really do. However, I will never attempt to form any other relationship through dating with all the dangers that effort would bring .. emotional, financial and spiritual. There is no need to experiment with those who are not my significant other .. and, can never be. I will live my life knowing that going my own way is the only viable alternative. Wherever she might be, I wish her well and truly hope she finds happiness along her own chosen path. When I do reach a harbor in Portugal, I will search and find that perfectly quaint outdoor restaurant, I will also smile a little smile .. knowing that life is a complex journey and sometimes requires difficult and somewhat painful choices .. ... and yes, when I arrive at my table with those two chairs and the flower .. I'll think of her, wonderful thoughts .. thoughts of things that can never be: will never be .. whisper a few words to the universe, to my Soulmate .. and dine alone.
I like your videos and your story, but why how come no one tries to stay celibate until marriage? It’s really sad how if someone does that then it’s a dealbreaker even if the person is great/
It's been over 12 years since my divorce and I have not had sex in all this time to the point where I am a virgin again. I lost my virginity when I was 24, and only had been sexual with 4 women, the x wife being the 4th and last.

This is difficult to understand if you’re a drug addict and you pick up a drug that’s a relapse.. period..if you’re a sex addict and have sex how do you deal with that? Glad I’m not in that boat!
Not by choice. don't have time to go out and meet women. I used to find it so easy to meet girls but now with my job there's not enough hours in the day. You remind me of a millionaire complaining about the light bill. SMH😧

do you still define yourself as an addict? Do you really think you could relapse? Unless some emotional trauma happens i find it very unlikely.
