- In a previous video I checked out some wall mounts from Collector mount and found they were great for a game collection and displaying those items. This time I tested them with many more items from around the game room ( Display games, vinyl, Cds , magazines and more) and had an excellent time! Collect what you love and thank you for coming by!

Thank you for coming to watch the video guys! Here's a link to CollectorMounts website if you want to check them out. collectormount.com/ They also do sales pretty frequently as well if you watch their Twitter page twitter.com/CollectorMount theres a 25% off there currently!
Really cool idea! I love the idea of filling a "grid" shape or filling dead space with different shaped boxes, it's just perfect all around.
Thank you and you are awesome! I love that idea too!
wowsa your videos are art! Thank you for coming by a little guy today!
I see a lot of vinyl collectors with a “now playing” shelf and some of these might work for that. Love the art wall approach.
I wish I could do more of these but theres just not enough room! Really happy with how it turned out in the end. Always glad to see you Musty and was glad to catch a stream!
Loved the video !!! those wall mounts are just perfect. I got some exposed beams at home so it could work on so many levels !! Thanks for the passion and ingenuity in finding those display solutions !! Collect What you Love !! L&R
aw man you are too kind to me! Thank you very much #1 and collect what you respect!
I know you talked about this last week, but the wall is looking good!
There should be a google doc or something that keeps tracks of all the links you provide to these items.
A google doc is not a bad idea! I may start something like this very soon. So far Ive just tried keeping up with my website which helps a little bit to guide people to the right video but it still needs work! Thank you Nama thats a good idea!
Great video dude and amazing display. Love the vinyl and the amiibo on the wall! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this video, keep up the great work!
Rocker! you always pump me up man! I watched a few of your videos and got some good motivation out of it . keep kicking butt man!
Great idea for an accent wall.
Thats what its called. I knew there was a word for it but could not remember that name. I appreciate it thankyou very much for the kind words!
@@DiskCart You're welcome. Keep up the great content.
These are awesome display ideas! You must have a really big room/house to be able to display your collection! 😄
Lol not too big! Ill use one wall for most of my testing but i do have 2 walls to work with. I am definitely running low on space now so im searching for more ideas on how to display amd take up less room. Thankyou for taking time to comment it really is awesome!
Disk Cart I have a small space too but the great thing is my dad built 3 big shelves to accommodate my growing game collection as well as some of my belongings. If you have space underneath your shelf, I highly recommend a hanging basket for even more storage to hang on your shelf! I use mine to store my controllers and accessories. 🙂
It’s always a pleasure watching your videos! I definitely look forward to your future episodes! 😄
Really like the idea of display NP and game guides--very cool man! Those CD mounts seem made more for the NES carts--love it! That wall looks incredible! I really, really like how it's come together!! Very clever on the Amiibo use too.
Thank you guys! Its been a lot of fun and a bit relaxing to make and i really dig it. Thanks very much to you guys for the support!
Love the video... really appreciate the fact you did a lot of work on these with Switch games, Switch CE;s etc. Awesome!
Thanks goldmario! I was super happy with how these worked! Lots of wiggle room here to do some amazing things with game collections especially switch! I think some of the bigger CEs would have trouble since their boxes are wider like the limited run boxes for instance. But mpst games and thinner switch boxed ces look awesome!
These are so clean looking! I wish there were more options for SNES/64 carts and boxes.
Right! I was hoping these would go a little bit smaller to be able to fit around the more horizontal carts. also the boxes were too thick as well on snes and n64. But who knows maybe theyll find a market for them!
Great video, well worth the wait. I love the look of what you've done! I've been conceptualizing a wall art video for my channel for a while and these mounts are pretty perfect, except for the cost. I've been trying to devise a less expensive DIY solution to bring my project to fruition, but it's great to know that if I'm not able to do that, these mounts are a great plan B.
Oh man! I would absolutely love to see it. Your videos/ ideas are very well done so im sure it will be great.

Cool idea
Thank you Rickey! Appreciate your comments man!
@@DiskCart no problem I've been rearranging my game room around trying to display certain things
That can be really fun. I'll set things up a certain way and let it sit for a couple days to see if it feels right. If not I'll try a new arrangement.
@@DiskCart yeah I'm the same way too
Man that looks awesome!
Right!? it blew my mind. I just started adding things to the wall and was amazed it worked out so well! Thank you Kenrulei!
the game guides look great up there for sure. I would love to display my first Nintendo Power and the Last on the wall
Nice the NES games do look great, could do different themes
Id love to see someone do a massive wall of game guides! we wont be seeing too many more of them in the future so I hope people collect them and save them!
Omg. You played final fantasy explorers? I loved that game. I would love to go back and play it again. I wonder how active the community is though
I was completely absorbed by that game. I had a couple friends who fell out of it quickly but I loved it. simple easy to play and a good time!
Dude, have you ever done anything about PAL region SNES carts? Or Super Famicom carts for that matter? They don't have the label on the end like US carts so it's hard to find ways to display nicely. The tiered stands look great, but I'd love to have them on the wall...maybe in one giant wall mounted rack or something? Either way, great video and channel man, really love your content!
Thank you so much for the super kindness! I am going to a gaming convention here in the next couple months and im hoping to grab a bunch of pal stuff so I can at least test it along side the u.s. stuff to give you guys an idea what fits. I have quite a few people who watch from pal regions and its loooong overdue! thanks for taking the time to leave a good comment and suggestion. have an excellent week!
@@DiskCart Brilliant! Can't wait for that! Props for all the hard work! Keep going!
Question regarding the vinyl mount maybe you could test out for me before I order some. I want to display 2 vinyls but I'd like to have them folded open up instead of the square shape, they'd be rectangular. Would the vinyl mount be sturdy/stable enough to hold a vinyl folded open or should I order two mounts for one open vinyl? Thanks!
That wall looks amazing! I need more wall space!
What's the story behind that Nier art piece? Just a big fan of the game/Kaine?
I will definitely get on testing that! It sound like a good idea as well to show the big art inside of some of the sleeves. That Neir peice is one of the records/ sleeve from inside of the Neir : Automata Neir Gestalt & Replicant Original Soundtrack Vinyl Boxed set. oof thats a long title. I believe the set was sold on the square enix store specifically but don't quote me on that!
@@DiskCart Gotcha! Awesome vinyl art in that case! Thanks for checking, I'm eager to hear what the result is.
Can you show different ways to open the amiibo without damaging it? so we can still display it and use them :D
or maybe just explain it^^ btw love your channel
@@A-Wa I will try to find a video of it but theres really no way to not damage the box. We just cut around the base of the box and it makes a kind of flap that will allow you to pull the amiibo out and put it back if needed. then If you set it on a shelf the flap stays shut and for most purposes it will stay shut and look like it was never opened. If someone were to pick it up theyd probably notice there is a flap on the bottom that can open. I like this trick since most people think my amiibo are all inbox new lol. But ill take a look around today for the video i originally saw on it. AND you are awesome and I super appreciate you checking out these videos it really helps the channel out so thankyou!
Cool vid dude
Thank you very much!
Your wall looks great! And it's totally changeable. Tired of seeing Sonic vinyl? Pop another one in. I've always wondered about opening or leaving an amiibo boxed- I tend to open my things rather than leave them, but I'm curious- what makes you decide to leave an amiibo boxed or to open it? I've noticed that you have both in your collection.
Thank you very much man! I love being able to change these up. for amiibo 90% are opened I just open them on the underside or back so that i can close them again if needed. But many stay in their original cases if not in use. I have a few amiibo I never pulled out as of yet and they are the monster hunter stories amiibo. I have the game but havent had the chance to play it. so ill have to decide if i should open them when i get to the game. always glad to see you man!
@@DiskCart Keep the boxes for storage is a great idea- I'll have to look into it! Thanks!
Great video and very inspiring. I Just picked up a game gear. How do you display game gear console and game ? Cheers
Oh nice the gamegear is awesome! It has some really great games. It always felt ahead of its time to me. I made a video on the ideas I've found so far for displaying these. Here is a link: ruclips.net/video/g7IMHf_rB0U/видео.html I am also still looking for more ideas for these so let me know if you come accross some! thank you for checking it out today and have an awesome week!
So far I found sticking two qtips in the screw holes in the back makesthe game gear stand up, will check the vid thanks
@@TheGrootmeesterjan lol thats actually genius! This is exactly the kind of simple thing that can make a big difference!
@@DiskCart a screwhole fits exactly 1 qtip and a wooden skewer. Bend them a little and you're done. I am now looking into getting it consolized. Adding an AV out and two controller ports.
Do you have to screw a hole in the wall to use them?
I personally used a couple command strips for each. You certainly can use screws but so far command strips work great. Just be sure to use more depending on the weight and it works great. Thanks for asking a good question!
You do not have to use a screw or nail! Command strips work great!
Hey man, I was wondering if you had to screw these in the wall? I have over 100 vita games and I don't wanna end up with 100 holes in my wall 😅. Also which one did you use for vita. There is quite a few sizes on the link in description
I tooook way too long to get back to you!!! I apologize! These mounts come with holes for mounting with screws but Ive had them up for a year with command strips. I used like 3 for the heavy stuff and 1 or two for smaller items. Even the owner of the company likes the command strip method.
How do you install these on the wall?
Now you are mounting you games?? First Tea Bagging now.. mounting? whats next you gonna pimp them out?
There is way to much in here for me to point out,, but OH MAN!!
