The Leica CL also has the same centered light meter. If I'm remembering this correctly the CL came out because the M5 sales were so bad, or something like that.
That Nokton 50 looks a lot more balanced one there than on an M2/3/4/6/7/8 where it looks a lot bulkier.

well just think about it. as I said - it's amazing what you can do if you combine that ringflash of yours with say two $5 clip-on type of wall lights. just to be sure that they have right temperature lamps in them. about 6500K should be right.
Finally a review of an M5 on RUclips. Love mine! I got a silver one with a 35mm 2.8 C-Biogon. Great match!

btw Mijonju do you also have experiences with compact MF rangefinders like Fuji GS, GW or GF models? I wonder what is your opinion about these? specially I'm interested about your opinion of GF670 / Bessa III. I have to say that for me 120mm feels more natural medium then 35mm.
compact RF? how compact can large format be? all RF is MF by way, maybe the only AFRF i know is the contax G,
I wanted the GF670 a long time ago, just didn't get a chance to buy it, many people love their own formats, i love 4x5 peel aparts actually if you check out my photo dump there are loads of shots with my wista, but anyway as for range finder with big format, in my strange perspective, i like shooting packfilms, but ya must be a great camera GF670.
What medium format camera do u use?
it's all cool, it's all about how you feel about the camera, I got a friend who hates leica and only loves hexar and his Zeiss Ikon, so ya as long as it makes you happy. :)

Well I use Fuji GX680 and I have to say it's the best camera in this planet. But it weights about 8kg with the tripod. So I'm considering something lighter for second camera and thats my interest for GF670. In europe it costs about €2000 so I really want to be sure about this.
Sorry for using term "compact" - i know that is so overused by the people who want to have all the megapixels in the world in their shirt pocket. And btw with MF I meant Medium Format (I guess for you it's Manual Focus).
I have just the same Leica with the same lens! It's perfect! Best camera I've ever used.

Mijonju (or anyone) do you know ANY information on the Yashica Minimatic EL 1:1.7 viewfinder? I bought the camera for 8 dollars with the two peice leather case. But the lens (which is fixed) has become loose. Could anyone give me any information on the worth of the camera, or anyway to fix the lens? The camera is in mint just needs the lens fixed and a new leather kit.

same lens same film = I'll feature photos, but even if the camera changes it's still same film same lens for the pictures, this is not a digital camera, where every camera makes a different quality, if you notice, i only show sample pictures with camera that's got fixed lens,

Does the rangefinder mechanism really have the accuracy to focus that f0.95 lens wide-open? Wasn't that one of the issues with the Canon rangefinder cameras of that era?

YES I LOVE, I WANT! I SAVING MONEY FOR IT!!! not now, it's my kind of perfect leica, it's got the lovely m3 winder style + a meter, i don't really use a meter but i would love to own one! flash sync and stuff, just lovely.

"Camera Porn..." *romantic music plays" - Love your vids. Got a Leica CL that has the same flippy uppy meter inside. So weird to look at without a lens on. Meter is gone and film counter is broken. Can't wait for it to get fixed and shoot some b&w with it. Not too excited about the money the camera repair shop will charge me :D

i love your videos but pleas pleas get better lighting. Ringflash directly into your face reflects back from every shiny detail of the cameras shown. It really destroys your message. It doesn't have to be pro equipment but it's amazing what you can do with same simple lamps.
