- In this vlog, I'm staying at a beautiful all-inclusive resort (think unlimited foods & drinks!) on the island of Curaçao. Curaçao is a Dutch Caribbean island just north of Venezuela. Sandals Royal Curacao had only been open for two months during our stay. Join me as I show you around the gorgeous resort. This is such a nice resort and looks like so much fun. I really loved the pools, the swim-up bar, the food truck area and all the games. I hope the lady who fell from her bike didn't hurt herself.

Absolutely beautiful resort, Annie! Loved that they let you change rooms to get the ocean views. Beautiful views they are too. Loved the beach! It's been a while since we've stayed at an all-inclusive but we always loved the food. Thanks so much for the wonderful tour!

So exciting! What a lovely resort! I agree with that sign, life is better in a swimsuit for sure haha! Lovely lobby (and the jar of cookies hehe) the pool area is stunning. Beautiful beach, wow! Love that swim up bar! I’m sure that is super popular haha. Love the Jenga game in the seating area! The water hammocks are so neat. Love seeing all of the boats. Your room is lovely too. Great video! Thank you! We'll be there next April. Just curious - when you asked them to change rooms because you didn't have a view of the ocean, did they charge you more for the change? If not, it's curious why they didn't give you an ocean view room in the first place. Good to know that you can ask - but curious if they charged you more for 'the view'? Thank you 🙂
Aww thank you! Enjoy your trip in April. I’m sure you’ll have a blast! 😎 Great question - no, we didn’t get charged extra! Technically, each room had ocean views in Sandal’s viewpoint, so they were at the same room level. So glad my boyfriend asked for a new room! Hi. Looking to plan a 20th anniversary trip and we've done two sandals in the past at st Lucia and Antigua and have had great experiences. Looking possibly at curacao, Bahamas, or grenada. I am sure they are all nice. Any thoughts?
Hi, Matthew! I’ve only been to the Curaçao Sandals, but we really enjoyed it! The food was absolutely delicious! We loved the sushi restaurant. I also have a video of all the food options at the resort, if you check my channel. The beach isn’t your typical beach, though, more like a canal, if that would bother you. My fiancée recommends the Exuma Sandals in the Bahamas too. I hope you have an amazing 20th anniversary trip! 🎉🎉

Great video, be there in 3 wks. Is it true the pool collapsed. What excursions are offered by the resort?
Thank you, Tonette! 😊 Yes, you’re correct. One of the walls of the main pool collapsed a few days after we returned home from this trip. I think the support beam gave way. 😮 There are lots of excursions offered at the Island Routes desk at the resort. You can check them out on the Sandals app. We highly recommend the candlelight private dining on the beach. It was amazing! ENJOY your trip! 😎🌴
@@JustCallMeAnnieWe're arriving in November. Will the pool wall be fixed by then? Also what building did you stay in? 6? We have walkout in Sunchi 6 or 4. Looks like the walkout suite in 6 will have view blocked by Strand Restaurant and bar!!! Is that correct? It also looks like the Sunchi walkouts will be on the same level as the tops of the palm trees. I would be so disappointed if that is the case. Thanks for the video and info.
@@janetobrien6194 I’m not sure when the pool will be fixed. I recommend following the unofficial Facebook page for regular pool updates. I unfollowed it recently, so I’m not sure the latest update. We were in building 6 (room number in the description box) and didn’t have any issues with our view. The Strand would only block your view if you’re on the first floor.
