It’s a beautiful story Queen mother🥰 I’m a sickle cell patient who lost her 3years relationship, he told me from start he’s AA while I told him mine but on d run I found out last year he’s AS I cried and sick thinking of how to start again I will be 25 September I do think hw to start all over agin and hw to see true love😭. We should all know our genotype is important we sickle cell are going through alot we can’t allow too much breeze in our system same as heat too….. we can’t do all activity lyk our mate do bcoz of our health the bone pain we go through is hectic we can play now nd all of a sudden we started having pains😭 “WE SICKLE CELL ARE THE STRONGEST HUMAN ON EARTH’’
Currently in the hospital watching this and balling my eyes out. Thanks Iyabo and Team for telling the story from the carers perspective. This disorder is draining, financially, mentally, physically and emotionally. As someone who has lived with it for well over 3 decades, I get that movies educating about the trials people living with SCD are very important... but you see movies like this that shows the challenges the carers face are just as important. Once more kudos to everyone that worked on this project, you all did a beautiful job encapsulating the message. PS: While this may not be everyone's story, this sums up the majority... -For any Naysayer.

I don't know why I feel her pain personally, perhaps because I shared a ward with Ayo at LASUTH shortly before her demise. May God continue to comfort you, and give you closure, Aunty Remi. And thanks Aunty Iyabo for the message passed with this movie, considering the toll sickle cell disease takes on it's victims and their loved ones, it can't be overemphasized. Exactly how she discribed it, feels like you are being stabbed over and over again all over your body multiple times on same spot. .... I remember the pain. Its been years since i feel the pains of crisis, but i can still remember the terror of it. I just thank GOD for medical advancement and GOD'S mercy. Praying healing and strength to all my fellow sickle cell warriors. ❤❤❤❤ I remember my mom running around with her hollandaise george wrapper looking for who will buy them so she can pay for my younger sister medical bills over 20 years ago. The financial aspect is very draining. PLEASE AND PLEASE KNOW YOUR GENOTYPES. I am Sickle Cell and I remember growing up, I was always addressed as Anjonu and I was seen as a devourer who was always falling sick whenever my parents got money planned to use for projects and other important things. It was like the crisis always came when there was a money. I’m glad there’s a video on this. I’ll share to other warriors like me. 🥹❤

Brillant movie, & sound. Probably the best Nollywood movie I've watched this year. The gripping storyline and quality of the production provide a powerful antidote to people with SCD. It deserves at least five million views. Kudos to Lydia lawrence ❤, Jerry ... the entire cast for their exceptional performances and the crew. I enjoyed every bit of it. There's no overbearing music nor inaudible dialogues, which make this movie even more exciting to watch. Well done to everyone. I am a sickle cell trait carrier ( AS) and luckily, we only have one copy of the gene, so we’ll never develop SCD. Yet, we are a carrier for the disease and can pass the gene on to our children ( my boy has SCT 😪) Watching from the 🇬🇧.

Best movie produced by Fespris production. Very relatable. I'm extremely proud of Iyabo for doing this. Will appreciate it if more movies and awareness are made on this issue of SS. The actors gave over 100%. I would however have loved if it was put out that those that find themselves in the situation of Olaotan could actually find out the genotype of the baby in their womb and that can help in decision making and also calm nerves. There are tests out there that can be conducted. The best decision however is for AS to NEVER MARRY AS.

This is so touching. That crisis is hell. My mum was not even a full SS, she was SC hmmm when the crisis comes is hell & she gave birth to 5 children in it. May her gentle soul continue to rest in peace. Weldone to all the cast.

Brillant movie, & sound. Probably the best Nollywood movie I've watched this year. The gripping storyline and quality of the production provide a powerful antidote to people with SCD. It deserves at least five million views. Kudos to Lydia lawrence ❤, Jerry ... the entire cast for their exceptional performances and the crew. I enjoyed every bit of it. There's no overbearing music nor inaudible dialogues, which make this movie even more exciting to watch. Well done to everyone. I am a sickle cell trait carrier ( AS) and luckily, we only have one copy of the gene, so we’ll never develop SCD. Yet, we are a carrier for the disease and can pass the gene on to our children ( my boy has SCT 😪)

Best movie produced by Fespris production. Very relatable. I'm extremely proud of Iyabo for doing this. Will appreciate it if more movies and awareness are made on this issue of SS. The actors gave over 100%. I would however have loved if it was put out that those that find themselves in the situation of Olaotan could actually find out the genotype of the baby in their womb and that can help in decision making and also calm nerves. There are tests out there that can be conducted. The best decision however is for AS to NEVER MARRY AS.
