Try double wrapping the wheel with rim tape. This will increase the inner diameter enough to get a seal. Also try adding a few ml of sealant to the tyre as it us being inflated. It's acts as a lubricant and will seal the gaps. Over pressurise to get the bead to get seated on the rim then deflate and add the correct amount of sealant and re inflate. You shouldn't have to go back to tubes.

Well I am having the same problem with my new Schawalbe Pro TL tyre . I easily seated front wheel but can not do this with the rear. No idea what is wrong. I tried adding sealant, soap water, air booster, compressor. No success to inflate the tyre.... :( Last chance I will wrap the wheel with rim tape once again - but on front wheel I have the same rim tape (1 layer)....

Yes double-wrapping could help, as Peter Bee said.
Wheels and tires can really be different from on to another, they do have tolerances. So on your front wheel those tolerances might match up better than on the rear wheel.
Also make sure the tire sits well on both sides of the valve.
And if nothing else helps- the guys and girls working in the bike shops have skills that we mere mortals can only dream of :)
      Good luck!

I actually have had 2 flats with the 2019 model , and the last one i was able to get it to seal when i used only 4 bar on the back wheel , i am using stans....And yes it will be nice when the standards for rims and tyres will get to the market. I use Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST.....actually the tires that came with the wheels worked pretty good. Next i will try the Conti 5000 Tubeless tyres.

Yes, I have heard that Mavic makes tires and wheels that fit well together.
But I have not yet given up hope to get this tire/wheel combination to work - perhaps with more rim tape and lots of soapy water.

@@thenerdymamil8557 i think if i am not mistaken that wheel and tyre manufactures greed on a standard......i actually haven't had any trouble with the sealing between rims and tyres.......only that the Schwalbe tyre / or the stans had a harder time to seal a puncture , when i tried to inflate over 4 bar. I also think that tyre sealant makes will need to look into the higher pressure tyres....but i also think it will automatically come now where several pro teams are starting to use tubeless tyres.

Don't blame the tyres by themselves. The rim makers are also to blame. I have found a working combination of Stans Avion rim and pro one tyre which is easy to install and fixes easy with Stans standard sealant and Stans Dart tubeless plug. Until we get defined accepted standards across the industry we will get odd incompatabities.

these damn tires have proven to be a problem for many people - I don't know why they don't get it that their tires are not very good !
Disappointing to say the least and yes I have tried the "new" better version - still the same old shiite

I guess it boils down to the combination of individual rim and individual tire- as long as they are not manufactured according to a common standard, it is a matter of luck how well the combination is suited for the tubeless set up.

@@thenerdymamil8557 for sure but then you can't rate it tubeless right?
