As a FOH Engineer seeing content this extensive on the products that I get to use makes me really excited for the future! I was literally just looking at SSL Live 100 information when I saw that this video existed. Serendipitous
I love SSL and their commitment to doing things differently and effectively.
I can’t wait to save up for this console for 50 years
This board is like an engineers dream! I need one!
Used an L550 on a tour through Europe in 2019. SSL live consoles sound better than any desk on the market imo.
Been using the L300 and L200 for about 4 years now. Great consoles!
What an amazing piece of equipment. I can't believe it's size. Pretty cool. Great video, thanks 🤘

I'm halfway through and he has yet to mention a truly unique feature of his console. At 10:50, he describes the "stems" feature which is "like an aux bus on steroids" and then he doesn't explain how a "stem" is actually different from a bus. He just describes the features of a bus on a digital console.
love these SSL Live consoles. stems are OP and the paths are so convenient. The automation is pleasing to use. I really enjoy using these consoles.
SSL VP calls to mind the vibes of Jim Ryan and Phil Spencer in the gaming industry: The Money got big and the Suits gentrified tf out the houses that the artists built.
Crazy expensive but very cool!
SSL ROCKS
I want one
I can’t help but wonder why SSL has not updated their studio consoles with touch screens and completely flexible digital routing… ?
Wow I didn't know Peter Gabriel owns part of SSL! That's wild!
Get some DigiCo on the channel!
Mixing on this would be nice!
I'm wondering if this 64bit float processing can come to the next home studio setup?
I've been hoping they would make the next SiX console, possibly calling it "The BiG SiXteen" with 16 of the mono SiX channels and some buses and now maybe it can have a 64bit float DSP to go along with it.
Maybe instead of USB it could be a MADI interface to allow PCIE integration, or USB also to make it portable.. the DSP only being a possible addition or add on maybe??... and a couple of the preamps being of the VHD circuit to upgrade the options like they did with the BiG SiX from the SiX.
even without the DSP a BiG SiXteen could be a iconic bit of studio equipment if it were to be invented
WOW!!!
No prices on the website? I guess it's one of those "if you have to ask... you don't have enough money" type situations oof
They're basically built-to-order and completely customizable, so I'm sure the custom aspect of it enters into the need for a conversation.
The L550+ with a Dante setup is about $150k. A stage box is like $18k. No something you’re really swiping a credit card at during checkout 😂
What is the price of this console?
Amazing but I think using the term stems is a mistake because it’s already a term used in the industry and that could be confusing.
I know they are big money, but I should would love to get a ball park price nat the least 100
please release a software for the Roland g70 with Drum and percussion v3.5. Also if possible 96 megabytes of memory so we can put our samples samp
Can this operate as an AES67 device and be NMOS discoverable for a 2110 network?
Hey there! That’s a great question, and I’m not entirely sure!! Perhaps it’d be best to hop on a call when you have some time and chat through what exactly you’re going to be using the mixer for, and how we can get it into your network.
Feel free to reach out to the information below, and I’d be happy to chat through what you’re hoping to do.
Thanks!
