In this video created for the special exhibition Dig Deeper: Discovering an Ancient Glass Workshop, watch our Hot Glass team shape a glass vessel at a custom-built replica ancient glassblowing furnace.
This type of pitcher was made and found at the 4th-century glassblowing workshop of Jalame, excavated by the Corning Museum of Glass and University of Missouri.
