In my opinion, this might be one of the best performances EXO has ever done. Halfway through Overdose I teared up because they have come such a long way. All of there voices were very stable and smooth throughout the entire performance (with the exception of a couple). I loved it and I hope EXO keeps doing great things in 2015!!!
Okay. Their recent live singing in music shows (especiallly this one) revives my faith to this group. I know they CAN sing and this finally proves it. Kudos to MBC and their live singing rule plus awesome sound system! Now about those leather pants...
Yeah I don't even want to know what happened to KBS and SBS with their sound system and camera work. Like, there would be random shots of people's armpits and instances where you couldn't even hear the singing.

Since a little time, I think that Kai is totally made to being on stage. His facial expressions, his DANCE, and sometimes his voice are perfect. We can totally see that he loves what he do with exo group

This live is really good. ALL of them sound clean. Vocal lines sound so much energized Chen Baek D.O. sound amazing... hopefully recovered and rested from their numerous concerts, AND Kai Sehun's raps were on point as well! Everyone really improved and look alive. Xiumin's parts are my highlight though!! So proud of this live performance.

3:10 Chanyeol actually has a nice singing voice! His voice reminds me of the Western mainstream bands from way back like Westlife, Backstreet Boys and A1. He's handsome here too! I think if I see EXO the first time with this performance, I would have a crush on him! LOL! But I already did before! XD His voice is sexy and boyish (even tho deep at the same time!) And the last chorus part, I can hear Chen and I think Yixing singing their heart out and trying their best to make the song or chorus sound good and stand out! Good job my EXO! :D
The way they enter has so much power and charisma and it feels almost as if they're kings! No longer a very hardcore EXO fan but even I can't disagree that they have an amazing stage presence.

A serious case of the kettle calling the pot black, what with you trying to call someone else out on being defensive. Chen is the most technically skilled vocal and a powerhouse. We should be grateful we have him to sing live for EXO. Lol Baekhyun has a beautiful voice (tone and quality) but SM needs to let him hone his skills before HE puts the mic closer to his face. Just be happy Chen (and Lay) sang the loudest in the choruses; can't imagine it would've gone well if Baek had had to sing throughout. He's way more inconsistent. D.O is more stable than Baekhyun too but he's not even in this conversation.. Don't get me wrong, I love them all too but from a musical standpoint what you said about Chen was just wrong. And it isn't a matter of you liking his lovely voice either. EXO needs him.

People keep commenting on how "bad" they think they were, but me personally i feel like they did an amazing job, This to me was Exo saying good bye to 2014. 1st of all they sang live, and very well considering all the dancing, and adjusting they have to do with 10(12) people. 2nd this was a horrible year for them mentally, emotionally draining. 3rd they had their first official concerts, and members leaving, and baek scandal. I feel like they were basically saying one more 2014 time for ( new age) 2015. The other groups were doing remixes, extra dances and that's all fun and cool but seeing a well thought out, well sang, perf done 100% well is better than seeing off tone remixes, non sync dances any day.
I can't quite put into words just how happy I am at this moment. They're finally regaining their mojo. This performance was filled with fighting spirit - Chen in particular was out to kill and he certainly did slay (me, that is, even though he's far from being my bias). But the best part was the rapper line - live Chanyeol, live Kai, and most exhilarating of all, LIVE SEHUN (I never thought I'd see the day). Happy. Happy, happy, happy! Great start to 2015. Happy new year, everyone! Here's to EXO coming back bigger, better and stronger (both in body and spirit)!
I love to start the new year off with exo! Those leather pants are killing me @_@. Where do i start? Exo fans have been through a lot in 2014 what with Kris and Luhan leaving. I will always support those two babies however i will move on and accept exo as 10. Its fine if some fans cant let go but 2015 is a new year and exo is starting to sing live a lot now and they sound AMAZING. 2014 has also been hard for not just exo fans but kpop fans in general. The two young beautiful ladies of Ladies Code dying was tragic for all of us but i know we will all try hard to stay strong. I also want there to be less fan wars in 2015 or no fan wars at all if possible. I hope for everyone to be safe and healthy in 2015 as well as our beloved exo and as much as I'll miss them i hope sm with give them a huge break cause they have been looking dead tired but i can see that they gave it their all in this performance so in return we should give it our all to support exo and be mature fans. Its never the idols who are on bad terms but us. I have so much more to say but if i do i will keep you guys here all night. So i wanna say Happy New Years and as exo says: SARANGHAJA!!!
I'm so proud of EXO. A great performance of EXO. I can hear their voices properly. I'm so happy that they're performing live, a real evidence that EXO is truly talented and not a loser like other people say. All of them did pretty well. I was too happy when I finally heard Kai sing and rap live properly. Xiumin and Lay did great although their parts are short. I'm happy to hear them. Sehun and Tao were great too. The rest were awesome per usual. Great Job EXO.

Seeing this performance, I totally forgot that exo used to have 12 members. It's like they're showing us that "this is it, this is the new exo." With Kris and Luhan gone and with all of the scandals they've gone through this year, they've moved on and continues to show us the new exo. I know that exo won't be the perfect exo without Kris and Luhan, but the current exo now is trying their best to show a better and improved exo, and it makes me proud and happy to be a part of the history their making. EXO, exo-l, saranghaja ^^
i just love how the fans are so coordenated in their chants! You can clearly hear them, it's almost as if they have a mic or something! EXO-L's good job!!
There's something about the way Sehun says "E-X-O" that makes me feel some type of way! Kai, Kai, Kai... such an incredible dancer and performer. It's no wonder he always front and center in the choreography. You can't help but watch him with awe, he completely owns that Thunder chorus. I wish he would sing more
They really are pulling through, and working hard without Kris, and Luhan. I do support the two former members, only because I realize that SM, and other companies, can really be awful towards their artists, and the desire to leave is not unwarranted, but I also support these guys for sticking around, and working through it. They are really being pushed too hard, and I am proud that they seem so put together, when they are probably exhausted, mentally, and physically. They sound great too. People tend to forget that most artists sing over their own track, so if you are seeing lipsyncing, that's normal. They still owned this performance.
They've been singing live lately. I love it! Not that I ever had a problem with them lip syncing I just love how they sound when they're live :) But there's no problem with lip syncing when they're singing and dancing in my opinion especially with how these dances are. EXO
This is literally an "in your face" performance for those ppl who say 'almost no one can sing in exo' haha! Best exo perf of 2014 tbh, i hope this gets continued further and further this year. Furthermore, I agree with the other comment, I think the reason why they did a great job last night was due to their fighting spirit. It was so obvious, like you can feel it emit -- the determination of them to prove their name and talent. Way to go, EXO! Let's have a great 2015!

Oh EXO BaBy!!! They have done great so far and I really appreciate them as they haven gone through a lot hardship and painful thing this year yet they can overcome it. They sing live most of the performance during this year-end events. They never make disappointed at all especially my UB CHen and Kyunsoo

Like in the SBS they were so off and awkward in the performances but the did a great in MBC but I have especially mention Sehun and Kai, they have improved their skills and I have never heard them this good in their rapping live!

well thunder is spelled as thunda in korea lmfao please learn hangul. actually exo is divided into vocal line dance line etc. you cant simply say they can sing. listen to d.o., baekhyun and chen, as they specifically divided to that area. gosh haters everywhere
ok thunder is one of my fav songs so i was really happy that they performed it! overall they did well, choreography was on point as usual, barely any timing issues so that was a plus! a little flatness among the vocals at a few parts but otherwise it was good! and god, jongdae was just fab i can't - i tend to not care for a few of the rap parts live, and this wasn't an exception, but it was definitely better than the times i've heard it before

There's no TH in korean language, yes it's true, there's T/TT in korean. The title in english is thunder, the reason why they sing " Ssunder " instead of " Thunder ", this is because 썬더 (Sseon-deo) in english is Thunder. Some of them sang " Sseodeo " , some of them sang " Thunder ", nothing wrong
Baekhyun improved his english pronunciation! He said "Thunder" and pronounced the th correctly. And in 'overdose' the s are well pronounced too. But suho's "sunder" is adorable.

3:10 Chanyeol actually has a nice singing voice! His voice reminds me of the Western mainstream bands from way back like Westlife, Backstreet Boys and A1. He's handsome here too! I think if I see EXO the first time with this performance, I would have a crush on him! LOL! But I already did before! XD His voice is sexy and boyish (even tho deep at the same time!)
And the last chorus part, I can hear Chen and I think Yixing singing their heart out and trying their best to make the song or chorus sound good and stand out!

A serious case of the kettle calling the pot black, what with you trying to call someone else out on being defensive. Chen is the most technically skilled vocal and a powerhouse. We should be grateful we have him to sing live for EXO. Lol Baekhyun has a beautiful voice (tone and quality) but SM needs to let him hone his skills before HE puts the mic closer to his face. Just be happy Chen (and Lay) sang the loudest in the choruses; can't imagine it would've gone well if Baek had had to sing throughout. He's way more inconsistent. D.O is more stable than Baekhyun too but he's not even in this conversation.. Don't get me wrong, I love them all too but from a musical standpoint what you said about Chen was just wrong. And it isn't a matter of you liking his lovely voice either. EXO needs him.

Seriously I don't get why many people hate on EXO and say they don't have talent...like...for God's sake this performance was totally live I can hear it and I'm sure everyone does and it's amazing how it's so similar to the studio version even though their choreo is so freaking hard and fast. These guys have a real talent you can't deny it even a non kpop fan could admit it.
I mean that high note Baekhyun did during Overdose was so on point even though he must be gasping for breath from all the dancing. I'm sorry but this is better than all the american "music" now a days.

People keep commenting on how "bad" they think they were, but me personally i feel like they did an amazing job, This to me was Exo saying good bye to 2014. 1st of all they sang live, and very well considering all the dancing, and adjusting they have to do with 10(12) people. 2nd this was a horrible year for them mentally, emotionally draining. 3rd they had their first official concerts, and members leaving, and baek scandal. I feel like they were basically saying one more 2014 time for ( new age) 2015. The other groups were doing remixes, extra dances and that's all fun and cool but seeing a well thought out, well sang, perf done 100% well is better than seeing off tone remixes, non sync dances any day.

I can't quite put into words just how happy I am at this moment. They're finally regaining their mojo. This performance was filled with fighting spirit - Chen in particular was out to kill and he certainly did slay (me, that is, even though he's far from being my bias). But the best part was the rapper line - live Chanyeol, live Kai, and most exhilarating of all, LIVE SEHUN (I never thought I'd see the day). Happy. Happy, happy, happy! Great start to 2015. Happy new year, everyone! Here's to EXO coming back bigger, better and stronger (both in body and spirit)!
I love to start the new year off with exo! Those leather pants are killing me @_@. Where do i start? Exo fans have been through a lot in 2014 what with Kris and Luhan leaving. I will always support those two babies however i will move on and accept exo as 10. Its fine if some fans cant let go but 2015 is a new year and exo is starting to sing live a lot now and they sound AMAZING. 2014 has also been hard for not just exo fans but kpop fans in general. The two young beautiful ladies of Ladies Code dying was tragic for all of us but i know we will all try hard to stay strong. I also want there to be less fan wars in 2015 or no fan wars at all if possible. I hope for everyone to be safe and healthy in 2015 as well as our beloved exo and as much as I'll miss them i hope sm with give them a huge break cause they have been looking dead tired but i can see that they gave it their all in this performance so in return we should give it our all to support exo and be mature fans. Its never the idols who are on bad terms but us. I have so much more to say but if i do i will keep you guys here all night. So i wanna say Happy New Years and as exo says: SARANGHAJA!!!

All of them did pretty well. I was too happy when I finally heard Kai sing and rap live properly. Xiumin and Lay did great although their parts are short. I'm happy to hear them. Sehun and Tao were great too. The rest were awesome per usual.

Seeing this performance, I totally forgot that exo used to have 12 members. It's like they're showing us that "this is it, this is the new exo." With Kris and Luhan gone and with all of the scandals they've gone through this year, they've moved on and continues to show us the new exo. I know that exo won't be the perfect exo without Kris and Luhan, but the current exo now is trying their best to show a better and improved exo, and it makes me proud and happy to be a part of the history their making.

There's something about the way Sehun says "E-X-O" that makes me feel some type of way! Kai, Kai, Kai... such an incredible dancer and performer. They really are pulling through, and working hard without Kris, and Luhan. I do support the two former members, only because I realize that SM, and other companies, can really be awful towards their artists, and the desire to leave is not unwarranted, but I also support these guys for sticking around, and working through it. They are really being pushed too hard, and I am proud that they seem so put together, when they are probably exhausted, mentally, and physically.
They sound great too. People tend to forget that most artists sing over their own track, so if you are seeing lipsyncing, that's normal. They still owned this performance.

They've been singing live lately. I love it! Not that I ever had a problem with them lip syncing I just love how they sound when they're live :) But there's no problem with lip syncing when they're singing and dancing in my opinion especially with how these dances are. EXO
This is literally an "in your face" performance for those ppl who say 'almost no one can sing in exo' haha! Best exo perf of 2014 tbh, i hope this gets continued further and further this year. Furthermore, I agree with the other comment, I think the reason why they did a great job last night was due to their fighting spirit. It was so obvious, like you can feel it emit -- the determination of them to prove their name and talent. Way to go, EXO! Let's have a great 2015!

Oh EXO BaBy!!! They have done great so far and I really appreciate them as they haven gone through a lot hardship and painful thing this year yet they can overcome it. They sing live most of the performance during this year-end events. They never make disappointed at all especially my UB CHen and Kyunsoo
I'm so happy that they're lip syncing less and less these days! It's bringing out the fact that they can actually sing well along with that tiring choreography..And it'll also help them practice and improve their live singing...Especially for those who are not the main vocals..

This is definitely the best live performance they have done this year! Like in the SBS they were so off and awkward in the performances but the did a great in MBC but I have especially mention Sehun and Kai, they have improved their skills and I have never heard them this good in their rapping live!

ok thunder is one of my fav songs so i was really happy that they performed it! overall they did well, choreography was on point as usual, barely any timing issues so that was a plus! a little flatness among the vocals at a few parts but otherwise it was good! and god, jongdae was just fab i can't - i tend to not care for a few of the rap parts live, and this wasn't an exception, but it was definitely better than the times i've heard it before

The title in english is thunder, the reason why they sing " Ssunder " instead of " Thunder ", this is because 썬더 (Sseon-deo) in english is Thunder. Some of them sang " Sseodeo " , some of them sang " Thunder ", nothing wrong
Baekhyun improved his english pronunciation! He said "Thunder" and pronounced the th correctly. And in 'overdose' the s are well pronounced too.
