You make such great videos, I would like to thank you. Can you also make a video with lots of practical tips and examples for everyday life with wigs, please? Just everything that happens in life - travel, work, outside in storms and rain, in the heat, on the beach and on the plane. On dates and in intimate life. Just everything you do in life. Such a special video. That would definitely be helpful for many women. Please, Taz!
I purchased a hot air brush by hot tools. It is great fot my new wig Heat by Jon Renau . Just enough heat that i needed for box hair. The wig looks fantastic. I highly recommend it. I haven't tried it on my synthetic wigs. Thanks again for all your information.
Hi taz that look you just achieved , i do with spray of water , then i twirl around away from my face, and pin, next day i unwyned , i sometimes seperate the twirls, when i finished waring for the day i repeat, my wigs last for about 3years, and i wear them 5 to 6 days aweek, its the absolute best hack i e used, minimul damage to my heat friendlys, i hope you share this, we ladies need to do what we can to preserve our wigs, luv yr channel, still waiting for cascara in chrome thou,
Thank you Taz!!! I have a wig I never wear that’s been tucked away in my closet for a long time. It was not my style! Planned on giving it away but thought I’d try cutting in some wispy bangs and using a straightener on them. I was so afraid to put heat to this wig! So as I always do when I have questions about wig wear and care, I went to your channel and found this instructional video! I cut the bangs carefully & sparingly and applied heat with my air curling device. It’s perfect! I think this wig has moved up into my top few favorites! I love your channel!!!!
Excellent tutorial for anyone nervous about using heat tools. I’m slowly getting the confidence to use more than water!!!! I have wigs that need modified or they will just sit on my shelf💔 I’m currently furloughed so no $$ New wig budget for me. Thanks for chipping away at my anxiety to OWN my wigs still in boxes 💜 2-4 inches of snow for NW OHIO today. My Christmas Eve snow has finally arrived. I’m gonna embrace it and play with my pup and enjoy a nice walk in Fresh air. As a teacher for 25 plus years I love a SNOW day. Reframing keeps me sane!!! Love you TAZ!!! Be well dear one.
Loved your comments Dee! It's snowing right now in North Central Ohio! Have fun dancing in the snow with puppy! Glad you found this inspirational.. I remember it took me awhile to know my way around using heat on my wigs. Have fun experimenting:-) Hugs, TAZ
Love the unfiltered on you! You've been wearing it through a few videos now, and is the best one for every day to wear. You look gorgeous in it. so natural.Love&hugs Taz .Have a safe and wonderful weekend with 👪💘
Loved This Video Sooo Much!! What a Difference!! I Really Enjoyed Seeing This!! You Looked Stunning Sweet Friend!! Loved Your Glasses!! Thank You For a Perfect Video as Always!! Please You and Yours Stay Safe and Well!! Love and Hugs!! XOXOXO!!
Happy Friday Taz, This wig is so cute on you, as all the wigs you wear look great. I am definitely going to give this one a try. Thanks and enjoy your upcoming weekend. xo Donna
Also glad you demonstrated this HF fiber and I do prefer the look better after you styled it with the heat air brush since I am not really into the too string beach look. :-)
You corrected yourself, but at 1:27 into the video, you said "smoothment". I think that's a great word to describe what you wanted to achieve with the hot air brush! "Smoothment"; a new term for the wig world.....I like it!
This wig is the perfect length that I’m looking for. I would like more of a side bang instead of none, and maybe a bit more curl, but it doesn’t look like a boatload of hair, which is really nice. . You did a great video here showing how to use a heated brush. Thank you!
TAZSWIGCLOSET Not coming back till May 1. Southwest cancelled next week’s flight because I guess there weren’t enough passengers. It’s so quiet here since the beach is closed, but I have absolutely no complaints. I can still hear the beautiful waves and the weather is amazing. I FaceTime everybody, and have had so much time to self reflect. Never know how things will turn out when you’re faced with trials. Sometimes when you think the worst thing has happened, blessings abound that would not have occurred otherwise. Feel free to call or whatever anytime.
Oh, Taz, thanks so much again for all your tips and insights! You make it all look so easy... And, always gorgeous!! I think I just may try to "tweek" my Unfiltered a little bit in the front too! Hoping for the best as I''m "all thumbs"! Hope all is well with you and yours. We're good. Have a great weekend. Love & Hugs, Mary ♡♡♡
This looks good. I think the key must be that particular brush and your very gentle approach to the curling. I got the oval Conair brush (similar to this one) -- I think the barrel spins, heats and blows. Whatever it does, it fried my biohair and pulled it out. I would not use it on my heat-friendly wigs. I am going to look for something similar to yours. Good video, Taz! xoxo
I have this wig. It was beautiful when I first bought it. Now, it is frizzy and I don’t know how to get it back to its original beauty. Any suggestions?
Hi Taz you did a fantastic job I love your unfiltered on you since you use the hot rush on it. That’s what I need to do with mine what size is your brush? So I can order one 💘
Thanks Linda! I have a 1" barrel. I have a few options for hot air brushes in my Amazon Store.. links under video. A viewer told me that Helen Of Troy was purchased by Hot Tools, so I added an option from that brand. HOT TOOLS Hot Air Brush 1" - www.amazon.com/dp/B014V9IYBM/
Hi Taz thanks for this tutorial, most helpful. In your video you mentioned the style of unfiltered as casual. I think it will be really interesting if you can do a video all about formal styles. What do you think? xx Sandy
Oh no, I just sent back my unfiltered by Raquel Welch.🙁mind didn’t look like yours, not even Close. This is a really good tip. Lol oh well I will leave it to fate. Just that little bit that you do made a big difference so cute. It was really cute on you to begin with that’s why I ordered mine but mine I’m repeating myself didn’t look at all like even the picture. ❤️🙏❤️💐
Oh no Nani! What a bummer! I know the feeling of being disappointed for sure. I can usually make them work, but sometimes when this happens leaves me scratching my head..like what the heck happened to this one? lol... XOXO

Thanks for the demonstration. I have no talents in this area and it was very helpful. Looks much better less stringy in front.

Great job my Pretty Lady 😊❤
I bought a hot air brush months ago and haven't really used it yet.... great demonstration and thank you for encouraging us!!
For sure! Have fun! I love steam for most things, but this comes in handy for a little modification "here and there" XOXO
I have learned so much from your videos. They’re fun to watch too. ❤

Great job showing how to use the hot air brush. I'm going to have to pick one up eventually. Thanks Taz! xoxo.

I'm sorry i can't find where the hot air brush is from? Thank you. Cute style unfiltered on you ❤
This really helps. I’m going to try this with Simmer. Any recommendation for the barrel size?
1"-1.5" would be fine! XOXO

Thank you for your input Liz!! I was lucky.. this is the first one I tried and it's perfect for my heat friendly wigs. Enjoy the day:-) XOXO
This is really helpful, thank you for the detailed instructions and demo.

Hi Taz, I just found this exact brush at our Winners(TJMaxx) here in Canada! Happy holidays!💋💋💋
Hi Taz thanks for this tutorial, most helpful. In your video you mentioned the style of unfiltered as casual. I think it will be really interesting if you can do a video all about formal styles. What do you think? xx Sandy
I will consider it! Thanks Sandy! XOXO
Thank you!
Loved this demonstration! PS: What microphone do you use for your set-up? You sound great!
Thanks Shelly! I use an Ipad pro.. integrated microphone:-) XOXO
Curious if you know what exactly is the difference between unfiltered and simmer? They look so similar I just can’t tell. Thank you
I much prefer Simmer due to it's light natural density. I found Unfiltered to be thick and overwhelming. Hope this helps! XOOX
Hi Taz! Would a hot air brush work to smooth the fibers on a curly wig (as you would with a flat iron on a straight wig)? Thanks!
I have not tried it, but I think any heat tool could be effective to smooth fibers for sure! XOXO
I went and dug out my old hit air brush but the bristles are too tight. I am going to check out the one you have in your store. Hugs.
Let us know how it turns out! Let me know if you need help:-) XOXO
Great video!! Question... what is the wig on the left of you? The one beside the head that isn’t wearing a wig? Thanks!
That one is Raquel Welch Unfiltered in the color RL12/22SS. I am wearing this style in my Spring Fling giveaway series:-) XOXO

Hi, would the dyson airwrap be suitable for heat defiant wigs?
Sorry, I wouldn't know:-) XOXO
Can you use it on a synthetic wig that isn’t heat friendly?
I do not recommend using heat on regular synthetic fiber XOXO
Gorgeous as usual. Taz, Does this wig hsve as much permatease as editors pick?
On my piece, it doesn't seem like as much permatease as EP:-) Thank you! XOXO
Would you mind sharing the style name of the glasses you are wearing from readers.com? Thanks!

SO appreciate your videos!! Have you reviewed Carrie by Jon Renau?
Hi Colleen! I have not reviewed that one yet! XOXO

No.. I do not recommend working with a wig in any way unless it is completely dried first:-) XOXO
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET thanks so much makes sense after thinking it though a bit.
I think Helen of Troy is now Hot Tools. I think I heard that from Sally’s
Great info, thank you!! XOXO
It’s now called Hot Tools brand. It’s all black color but still the same tool.
Sadly, I returned mine because the one side was so heavy and thick it wouldn't stay out of my face. Sides were so bunchy, not like yours.
