how to find the diameter of the spigot collar as d3...??
actually spigot collar has dimensions d3 and d2. in the video it has been mistaken as d4 and d2 so.
Nope. d4 is the outer diameter of socket collar and not the spigot collar.
You can find d3 by observing spigot collar under crushing.
Resisting area: pie/4x(d3^2-d2^2)
he didn't show failure of spigot collar in crushing so from there you can calculate d3
