Nobody like Kirk will ever come again, he was totally a unique phenomenon, incredibly sad we had to lose him
Had this album years and years ago. Still sounds like it's been recorded tomorrow.

I can totally hear this in a Fever Ray album made today. This is awesome.
Good night, Sweet Prince,
RECUERDO SIEMPRE!!
RAFAEL
Thanks for posting this - I hadn't heard it before. One of my favourite pieces of music is Oneski, which can be found on Trance Europe Express Volume 2. Now I realise that Oneski is a remix of Freezone. I love them both.
First Warp vinyl I've bought..back when I was 13..

Sounds like More Tecate ?
I believe a computer musician name of Xylocaine sent me here. I love what I am hearing. Many things are making sense to me now. I urge all those who are fond of this man Richard H. Kirk, to seek out Xylocaine, or maybe more specifically Exmah (an alternate pseudonym under which he produces music.) Xylocaine (his various monikers included) is still active today. Pasminco on soundcloud. Thestableofcrap.bandcamp.com youtube: deadgirlia
Am I the only one who thinks that this is a tribute to what was going on in South Africa back in '94? (You can even hear the words 'South Africa' from the news sample at the end.
"In South Africa, President Frederique de Klerk has stated that reports of VIOLENCE will be stamped out by the time the general elections are held..."
Yep! Many of his albums deal with apartheid, Islamophobia, surveillance states, liberation movements, war.
Stop that high hat bro!!
Uh that shuffling hihat is really rubbing my ears the wrong way.
Polyrhythms. They grow on you. There's quite a few percussion elements that don't make "sense" until the entire phrase is heard
@@parasiteunit It's the frequencies. I guess it's more of a shaker than a hihat, but even 7 years later it's still stabbing my ear drums.
