Don't know if it was already mentioned, but now you have to pick up the new start decks that came out last Friday for the Energy Counter that's now mandatory for Standard. You could just buy the Energy Counter, but at the price it's going for, you're better off just buying the whole deck.
Damage zone is like inverted heart points from Dungeon Dice Monsters. You know like you only use them, when you get a direct hit and otherwise nothing happens to them. "Hey, I think she's cheating" - Stephanie from No Game No Life probably To be fair, in the anime Kai kinda went all out when teaching the game. But yes, usually not the best to scare them off like that. They're going to learn the cruel reality soon enough.
Good lesions I would have done things abit different mainly with teaching more about what each grade does ahead of time explaining how grade 0s and 1s have boost, teaching intercept earlier and twin drive before the fight because Leah got confused on boosting and hardly guarded as well so explaining guarding ahead of time. Also an explanation of the field as well before and how calling works because in Yugioh mind only 1 normal summon a turn which is very different from a call in Vanguard. Other than that a really great job explaining it in terms that Leah can understand with her massive yugioh brain

Cardfight is easier than Modern Yu-Gi-Oh.
every game is... but the complexity is also its attractiveness

I really wanna know how and where did y’all create your characters that you use for RUclips. I’ve been trying to look around and try it out myself
