From what we heard from the friends of the victim, the male had been at a party with his girlfriend and they got into an argument. He left the party on foot. Shortly thereafter, a friend and the girlfriend went to go and look for him. They from him laying on the street with a gunshot to his chest.
He was still alive when the Police and Firefighters arrived. Firefighters and Paramedics started CPR when the victim stopped breathing and they worked on him for over 30 minutes before he was declared deceased.
E. 16th St is blocked for traffic from Prospect to Grove. The Police are investigating the incident. We spoke with the girlfriends’ father, and he told us that the victim’s first name is Brian. He was an 18-year-old Hispanic male who lived in City Heights.
I’ll say it again... I learned to stay away from house parties... I seen too many walk in and not walk out... RIP LIL HOMIE it’s not worth it the streets will eat u alive if u let them... steer clear and the best advice for everyone in 2020; JUST STAY HOME!!!

Yup i stopped going to parties when i was a sophmore in high school. The final one i went to two guys got stabbed 10+ times each and then a shotgun was pulled and they started shooting at the people who were stabbing the dudes. Needless to say i was cool off of parties after that. Unfortunately no one goes to have a good time anymore, they only go to fight etc....
Now she'll be thinking of all the negative things she last said before he walked away.

Bro it’s very sad . My heart wrecks for him. I use to be like this young guy partying on the weekends or a Friday night having the time of my life and even having close encounters with death. But luckily I’m still alive by the grace and mercy of god. Lesson is we can’t play Russian roulette with our souls . Death will cease upon us at any given moment. Death is the arresting officer because the wages of sin is death. The devil plays for keeps. The party sinful lustful life is a trap from the devil. There’s a saying that you give the devil an inch but he takes a mile but sometimes he don’t just take a mile, he takes your LIFE. People don’t understand how powerful the devil is . The archangel Gabriel fought with devil for 21 days in the desert of Persia and had to request help from Archangel Michael for help because he was losing. So without Jesus, the devil reigns over our lives .Death doesn’t discriminate anyone , man, women, child, old, young, black, brown or white. The million dollar question is where do you want to spend eternity? Although this young guy is young I hope he gave his life to Jesus and repented so he can be in a place of comfort.

MxBH Clan yeah it’s hard for everyone. I’m not speaking like I am holy and righteous . I myself struggle with temptations everyday too whether it’s lust, women, pornography, and getting faded and sometimes I give in. It’s tough but my advice is to repent, pray and ask Jesus Christ to forgive you everyday. But you must believe and truly want to repent from your heart because he knows your heart. You can fool yourself but not the lord . Once you truly believe in your heart that god sent his son, our lord and savior Jesus Christ to die for your sins. He will be faithful to forgive you . Therefore you will be saved and your name will be written in the book of life. You’ll automatically be born again in the spirit and you’ll be a new creation in Christ . In other words, he’’ll send his Holy Spirit to live inside you and he’ll give you a new heart and desires. So whenever you sin, the Holy Spirit will convict you of your sin so you can repent from it because those who don’t have god and the Holy Spirit operating in their lives don’t feel the need to repent because they are living in darkness. In this case you must seek and pursue god daily in prayer, worship in spirit and in truth and in his word that way you can fight the devil and the the temptations of the flesh. The devil knows his time is short that’s why he is looking whom he may devour. A prayer less Christian is a weak Christian . Once you have a strong relationship with god, he’ll start to manifest in your life and speak to you in the spirit. You’ll end up discovering your spiritual gifts whether it is prophesying , leadership, healing others, seeing in the spirit etc. Read the book of Ephesians in the Bible . It’s speaks of spiritual warfare and how to put on the whole armor of god in order to become victorious over the devil. I don’t know why gangs fight each other now a days , it’s foolish because the Bible states that our true enemy is not against flesh and blood but against dark rulers and principalities in the unseen heavenly realms

The gang lifestyle is BS. I had friends and family who been through it and some lost their lives leaving behind their family, baby mama and kids . It’s totally not worth it. Maybe this kid was not in a gang but he was probably hanging out with the wrong people who had enemies and got mixed up in it

Hmm. Seems fishy. Like a love triangle type thing. An “argument” with girlfriend then she and “friend” locate Brandon dying on a dark residential street? You’d think someone searching for someone they expect to be walking home alive wouldn’t even notice a body lying curbside in between parked cars. Perhaps if he was sprawled in the middle of the street that’d seem reasonable. I’d test long haired guy’s hands for gunshot residue.

He was alive when EMT'S and police arrived. If girlfriend and friend were calling his name he may have been able to answer. Then they called for help. I hope they find the person responsible and test both girlfriend and friend for gun powder residue. Trust but verify.
@Slotsandcelebs it’s odd how they pulled up on him like they knew exactly where to find him. Sorta like Brandon gets into an argument with his girlfriend over something that happened with “someone“ at the party. This “someone“ is familiar with either Brandon’s girlfriend or longhair guy or both. Things escalate and Brandon winds up either running from or chasing after this “someone“ who in turn shoots him. Then, this “someone“ makes a cell phone call to either Brandon’s girlfriend or longhair guy and tells them where to find Brandon because things got out of hand. He then asks them to call help. Meanwhile this “someone” runs off to stash the weapon all the while hoping Brandon makes it so he doesn’t go down for murder. Either way pretty sad stuff.

The investigation will start with the girlfriend and her friend. Everyone at the party will be questioned. Cell phones will probably be seized. Everyone in the neighborhood will be questioned or ask for any type of surveillance.
Nowadays, there is such an advance on forensics technology, it will be difficult to "get away with murder".

It’s very sad I really hope he repented too but the sad part is that today is the day of salvation but people overlook it and continue to live there lives and party until the death comes upon them unexpectedly like a thief in the night because the devil plays for keeps. Yet many claim that their love ones or their fallen friends who are part of a gang or the party life participating in sin that passed on are an Angel in heaven. But if you read the word of god, is that really true. “You must be holy for I am holy” “And those who don’t do the will of my father does not belong to me but to the wicked one”.
