Thanks for a very well presented video with good explanations. I intend buying the exact same VoltX portable power station in the coming weeks. Cheers

Great review mate very helpful and informative I’m thinking one of these for the camping I do would be ideal. In your opinion how long do you think one would power a 60ltr Engel fridge for roughly.? Thankyou in advance

This vs dji new offering or echoflow options? I’m looking for a hybrid setup for my sprinter van and I’m thinking about running a 100ah under the seat to power lights and the fridge . I would add an additional power system like this to charge your ebike on the fly

Just one question. Such nice Xmas spirit and lighting, but why would you keep us in the dark?

Hey mate, how loud is it? When it's under load does the fan turn on loud? I have the voltx 1500w and it has a super load fan that just turns on and off intermittently, even without a load. Cheers

Hey mate, been waiting to buy, can you please tell me if the fans are loud or not? Do they run at full tilt when they come on? Or are they quiet under low loads? Cheers

Would this be enough to power a ps5

Easily. PS5 draws about 150-200W... so it would run it for several hours.

Hello again Glen. Could you, or anyone, tell me why these battery/inverter units are called “solar generators”? They don’t generate a whiff of anything without auxiliary solar panels, or a wind turbine. They are merely an electrical storage vessel, with some cute switchgear, and a clever AC output.
Is “Solar Generator” somehow more exciting than battery/inverter?

Does the Volt X 1200w have a UPS mode Glen? Cheers, 🍻

The unit functions independantly of any ac or d.c. input so is effectively a UPS. I use it to protect some of my audio gear from being interrupted when recording.
