I heard somewhere that he wants to get through the dance practices as quickly as possible to play games, so he is one of the quickest to memorize the dance. Then, he can play while the others learn their parts.
I always think it’s amazing that he’s the main vocalists of this S-ranked group but is said to be the fastest person to learn the choreo for songs. You would never know with the way he jokes on behind the scenes of dance practices😂

Having experience in performing arts, the director/choreographer lets us to be really into the song and play a role/character that we create in accordance to the context of the song while dancing. So yeah, in performance level, acting is there...that's why practicing/rehearsing with backup dancers is important not just to be in sync with the moves but also build that camaraderie and chemistry with each other to be effective on stage or on screen.
His LIVE performance at Overpass in Manila was 🔥especially the end where the paper hearts were falling while he stood on the stage. It was during the SM fiasco & it was so good to see him perform. Plus, the paper hearts were prepared by the fans. Such a memorable day.
I wanted to give my take on what Simon was asking at the end about whether there’s tension and such between the dancers when the song and routine is more sensual. As a dancer myself I can confidently say no😂 when you practice a routine with the same people over and over and over again there’s not really room for any feelings like that. When it comes to the performance it’s all in the acting to make it convincing. And what I think is a mark of a good dancer or actor or performer is the ability to convey a feeling that necessary isn’t actually there. Let’s not forget that these people are professionals and at end of the day it’s just a job. Thanks for the reaction and for loving Baekhyun!
