    Luiz-This is a VERY encouraging video. I run a 6040 1.5kw on Mach3 and am just transitioning to aluminum. To see your set up, the scheme you have used for fixture and hold down, and to see the detail close up of the material removal has given me the attitude that I can attempt what you are doing! Thank you for the tool and RPM info and sharing.

    How did you center? By eye?

    • @tryally
      @tryally  3 года назад +1

      HI Eric, no, I'm using a rotate dial gauge device to centering it.

    What to use to protect alu after a cut like that? I still haven't found any suitable paint. Maybe only powder coating works?

    • @tryally
      @tryally  7 лет назад

      Hi Giulio, I use plastic sheets of PVC, like a type of shielded book material.
      Thank you for watching.

      Hi Luiz! How you apply them over the material surface? With an heat-gun?

    • @tryally
      @tryally  7 лет назад

      Hi Giulio, I don't use a heat-gun I apply a sweet cut using a bistoury so is easy and Ideal solution for the bending of the PVC cover.

    Hi,
    Nice Video. Just wondering, What type of "long" end mill holder do you use? The sherline-one are far too short to be able to work directly on the table (at least on my 5800)?

      Hi Sébastien, thank you for watching my video, so this long end mill holder that I use is made by me and I will put on market as soon as possible, I believe that two months.
      Its is great for many works process like you can see in my YT page.
