How do you think this compares to descript for video editing? Seems like the advantage of Pictory is that it automatically splits the scenes where in Descript you have to do it manually. Pictory also auto picks the stock footage but you need to change a lot of it anyway so not that different from Descript, but also the flow for picking stock media does seem easier in Pictory
Yes you are right. Pictory also has access to story blocks footage. I use Descript for voiceovers and video presentations. But it’s too slow for editing stock footage videos together on mass.

you can just change it in the story feature on a per scene level. or you can add additional text using the text feature. it should be easy, make sure you are using the Chrome browser in case something is blocking it. if that doesn't work contact their support.
@@garethlamb Thank you It seems to be working with a different shorter video. A few queries: In the text, I have been changing the background from blue to purple. However, it seems I have to do this scene by scene. Is there a way to apply this to all scenes (As there is with the position)?
I create all of my voiceovers in elevenlabs but I can’t make them longer than 5000 characters so I end up with 2 voiceovers for one video. At the moment the only way I see is using descript to combine the voiceovers and then load them into Pictory, but maybe I’m missing something? Maybe there IS a way to add multiple voiceovers in the same vids in Pictory?
Being able to select the text and set the size and font into a style and apply it across all the visuals works wonderfully in Pictory. I found the font sometimes was too large and dropped it down to 22. Camtasia also has the capability to make your video more professional and gives you more control on the finished product. Camtasia does compression of your video without loss of quality. Pictory continues to get better all the time. Just as a side note. Get Channel Profits inexpensive course. It helped me alot and he has information no one else talks about. Great value.

That is what the YT channel is for. But you will always need a little money to start a business. So my recommendation would be a job or offering freelance work to earn more.

No this is how I do it. Lovo offers a voice editor, but as of now 11 doesn’t
