This is so painful to hear. I used to assume that all families are the same. I've come to the painful conclusion that they're not. I trusted my older sister with millions of shillings to build me apartments and she never took even a penny. She accounted for everything and even when I got stuck and couldn't finish paviing the parking lot, she used her own money to do it. No one believes me since they're so used to being conned. I finished the entire project without any worries. My sister is a gem. She has refused any gifts from me, in fact she's the one who sends me gifts to America. The way I return the favor is helping the less fortunate
Being in diaspora last 8years ..for the first 4years i have nothing to show....kazi ilikua kuitishwa ukituma mpesa ..time ya Corona 2020 i woke up like pia wewe uko na shida but not even 1person to show up for you....Never again kwa ku trust watu na pesa is where i draw the line....thank you to this Cannon may God bless HIM...
Pole sana, in the African culture our biggest enemies are house hold wickedness. Our families, uko lucky uliweza hata kwenda diaspora ,those milking you wangepata chance you would be rejected and deported .But God is good and faithful.
I feel for those who were taken advantage of by their loved ones. I too lost Sh5.3 millions through my own brother. I got so fed up with Kenya and burnt my Kenya passport and swore never ever to ever go back to that place.
Jeremy, all those ladies are beautiful. You cannot single out just one, it makes the others feel less than, when you keep telling just one how beautiful they are. I say this respectfully.
I too got almost drowned into alcoholism but God by his own grace 🙏🏾 🙌🏽 got me out. I owe my sister 😢in this she really prayed for me. Hiyo transition is not a joke😢😢

You and Rev mbugua are doing a wonderful job giving these precious souls a second chance. May God bless you abundantly and beyond all you can think or imagine.
Rehabilitation is another upcoming business amongst church people, it's being funded by Dorcas Rigathi, hopefully they're doing background checks on how those businesses are being run, but otherwise some of them are very helpful and there's nothing good as having your life restored back to you, and satisfying when you give back someone their lives back.
Nisaidieni please Niko Qatar niliretwa huku na relative (cousin) with free visa nikamutumia over 300 k but on reaching here sikupata iD ya hapa has they promised me one week on coming here nimehagaika mwaka moja without job hapa Qatar sitaki kurudi home empty handed
God hv mercy watu wanapitia alot so sad may God protect you and guide yu thats not the end atleast unaweza rudi job usave bila kuhusisha familia ujisavie
Other than sending money, kuna watu kwa Family that wait for you to come so that they can use and misuse you. They know very well in Diaspora hakuna raha so ukikuja they will sponsor you once for outings and because of guilt you will have to give back. So it’s also very good if someone can just come and avoid those pple. Sharing this through experience and now I just feel I need counseling..
Sorry, the caption is not working so not understanding the people's stories but reading some of the comments understand the gist of what transpired. Alcohol and Drugs are the worst things to come into any family - absolutely destroys the person taking the substances and the family or partner associated with them. Not everyone's body can take alcohol - many nationalities have a very low tolerance/threshold for alcohol, unlike Europeans. These substances WILL NOT take the problem away, no matter what it is - you will forget it for a few hours - but the issue is still there. Now with the abuse and reliance on these substances other issues come into play (homelessness, jail, trafficking, prostitution, unemployment, short temper, bad health). If one cannot trust a family member to do something for you, while you are working so hard overseas, then who can you trust but your Creator. Just remember God's tests everyone with good and bad situations. What one does in those situations is the result for one's destiny.
why trust these family members? i better fall in the hands of strangers...ama send ur cash to the bank... u will invest when you come back and go after ziishe... I can't trust anyone to be my eyes and ears.
Jane, please send me your contacts I will get back to you. Be strong and know that there are people who care for you. Please get in touch or let me know how I can get in touch with you. Hugs mama

It's 8 years since I returned from diaspora and with nothing, the 1st five years were the worst 😢😢😢 only Gods mercy has kept me from evil 😈.
