- We're going to evacuate from the huge Tsunami! We will have about 6-8 hours to evacuate! We pack quickly and only what we really need! Everyone in the family can take only one thing, what do they pick?!? But before that, we have a crazy fun day! We have to go back to Ds Sporting Goods because Evie's Nike Pros did not fit her. But she just gives them to Brinley! Brinley was so excited to get them! Evie can't find her size in blue, so sad, but see what she gets instead! Brinley, Kapri and Evie watch our old vlogs and react! So funny! While we're out running errands, Daniel and Evie go looking for cars! Then Brinley and Kapri get out the air track and we they do duck walk and bear crawl races, and a bunch of tumbling! After that Daniel makes dinner and we decide to watch Annabelle and The Conjuring!

The main sign of a tsunami is the water moving back out to sea, so if you’re ever at the beach and you see the water drawing back LEAVE immediately! We learned about it in geography in high school - fun fact, a girl who was studying geography was in Thailand on the Boxing Day tsunami 2004 and managed to clear an entire beach of people by noticing this and realising it was a sign of a Tsunami!
And run far far away, even if your tired from running keep running, just run and run and run!
I get so scared when I see the water going back in just like ahh I don't actually scream though it just always makes me a bit scared
We're nowhere near the ocean, so we're safe
Once I was at the beach and the water was in the back and we stayed there for hours and then was no tsunami

regarding the tsunami: i also live on the east coast of florida. if u check the national tsunami center they say: Sept. 19th, 2021
There is NO tsunami danger for the U.S. East Coast at this time, following the eruption of Cumbre Vieja volcano, La Palma, Canary Islands. The National Tsunami Warning Center is monitoring this situation, and based on all available data, including nearby water level observations, there is no tsunami hazard for the U.S. East Coast.
A reminder, tsunami alerts are disseminated through National Weather Service and broadcast through official pathways including the Emergency Alert System, NOAA Weather Radio, and Wireless Emergency Alerts.

Also, you're talking about the La Palma eruption and potential mega tsunami. I think a large scale landslide is possible (although not likely...hopefully) since there was a partial collapse of the crater already (at least according to my app that pushes notifications on erupting volcanoes to me). Its probably not a bad idea to have a "go bag" for everyone in case of emergencies regardless, especially with even a slim possibility of needing to book it out of there for a tsunami. Having one bag for your essential documents would be good too. That way you can focus on getting your animals and anything of significant value out instead of essentials. We usually have a "go bag" for tornado seasons. I don't know if you can tell but we have been through several natural disasters that were unexpected before. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best is how I try to operate but I never say never.

The zolcano is on one of the Canary Islands. I have been to the islands many times (we Brits vacation there lots). I have heard of the tsunami scenario before, but these are small islands and the mountains aren't massive, they don't seem big enough to cause something so dramatic, but I am no expert!

On Netflix there is a show called “I’m not okay with this”. It’s similar to stranger things in terms of mystery and si-fi (there is cussing in it - I’m not exactly sure how comfortable y’all are with that) but I highly recommend it :)

The first Conjuring is actually my favorite Horror Movie of all time. And I am 41 years old and have seen a LOT of horror movies.
I've got some movie recommendations for you: Talladega Nights, the entire Karate Kid trilogy, the entire Twilight saga, and Legally Blonde on Netflix, and Space Jam on Hulu! They're really good movies! :)

If you guys have Disney + I would suggest Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D! It’s scary, TV series and it’s pretty interesting to watch. I would also suggest the 100 it’s on Netflix, it’s gory, and some scenes are SUPER SCARY, and it’s very dramatic

I have heard about this and I definitely think it is possible and I have done a lot of research when I heard about it. This volcano has been erupting for a while now for over a week and hasn’t calmed down. And like you said anything is possible especially with how our world is going. 10-20meter waves or higher are possible to hit Florida if it did occur. And it would hit within 6-7 hours after the piece fell into the ocean. I don’t discredit anything at this point and would stay aware for if some crazy reason it did happen.

Yes U.K. we are lucky for a U.K. for the U.K. to get one , would be another Spanish island would have to have a volcano Eruption , there earthquakes scale would have to be 12.0 for that to happen & when that does eventually go it would take 3 hours to get U.K. 6 hours NYC side of USA & Netherlands would be underwater,some places in Africa & Asia’s would be flooded with all of Europe flooded & one side of USA ,Canada & Mexico. South America,Hollywood Side of USA,Australia,New Zealand,Japan,South Korea, there would be flooding but very likely to be in subways in safe countries from a Tsunami. The one am talking about not the current one. It will probably happen in next 100 years. The one am on about so you don’t need to worry about it yet

I am have not read up on this in any way, but I’ve vacationed in the Canary Islands and heard a little about the theories for land slides. From what I understood it was published some theories for this like 20 yrs ago, but has been criticised since. The Canary Islands, incl. La Palma where the volcano eruption is, are fairly stable and the chances of a tsunami (and particularly one that would affect a dangerous scenario as far away as Florida) are super low - like 1 in every 100 000s of yrs.
Soooo I think you are siper safe 😊 No stressing about it in European news stations anyways 😊
However, if there was a catastrophy I would be good as long as I had my partner with me 😊 However, credit card, phone, charger, water, some food, warm clothes, car keys etc could come in handy though…

I heard the buoys are turned off. And they refuse to fix it. I live in Phoenix AZ it sucks living here cause of heat. But no volcanoes, tornadoes, earthquakes, or tsunamis.

I think its possible, anything is at this point. I've been watching different sources and they show Florida pretty much covered in water. So many crazy things have been happening and if mother nature has a bad day it's very very possible for it to hit the US. I live in a landlocked state so I worry for a few states that are on the coast 😉

I have a Jeep. Jeep's aren't made like they use to be. My lights on the dashboard keep going on and off. There is a short. Whatever car Evie gets besides the cost of the car think about cost of repairs too. As far as a tsunami if the water comes this far inland I hope and pray 95 stops it.
