Very good energy from the teacher. Kept the children talking and engaged throughout. It's obvious that the kids are eager to learn though! I wish I had several helpers to calm the kids down for me as well
My Demo Class is Moday Morning. I am so glad you did this. I am exactly going to use your method of interaction woth the children and hopefully i shall be approved by the Head Master. Thank you
Teaching ESL is one hell of an experience. I felt the same way you did before I started but the training is on point and you'll be surprised how much your confidence grows.
Thank you! I chose your video for a good reason, to help teachers, because it is so awesome! Then, go here: subscriptions.viddler.com/fresheyes -- promo code: ncea -- perhaps you would be interested in (1) becoming an associate for Fresh Eyes on Teaching because classroom video is a powerful tool for teacher improvement, or (2) you would rather have me take down your video. Just let me know. Associates contact local schools to initiate school memberships.
Color prints? Hahaha! This is China!!!! Schools don't have color printers because the ink refills are far too expensive. Schools in China don't care about teaching, they only care about MONEY! Schools here are about business, not education, especially study centers! Any Chinese business person will walk 10 miles out of his/her way to save a penny! Color prints? On good paper? No way!
+rnrsuperman you"re right about but as agood teacher your spend some money to prepare your own material you can buy a good printer in china for 500 rmb and the ink is not that expensive
+zaki paradise Never spend your own money on anything for a school in China, it won't be much appreciated, they just will expect you to do that because it's 'your duty' to do so. I never bring my job home with me either. My time is MY time!
Possibly one of the worst classes I have seen. It was just an intro imho, flashcards all the time, no actual activity in the class, no games, no songs, no craft for kids. Zero creativity; I see the same walking into every single Chinese teaching centre... Sorry to be straight forward and harsh, but that is just what I see.

This video just put me off teaching kids in China - I don't have that level of energy, I'd just feel awkward :|

Good job with keeping their interest!
great teaching but isn't that to much vocab for one lesson?
is this the warm up?
Good job! I'll try to learn from you!!! :-)
enjoyed this :)

rnrsuperman you are not going to do it expecting to be appreciated by the school, you do it just for the kids, they just deserve it.

It was a 20 minute demo class for a job interview, not a real class.
You sound like a teacher who takes himself way too seriously..
