Sarah Green, a great lecture by Ben Witherington III addresses the same issues and I would first say his credentials are solid and he is egalitarian in his views. Women were apostles and disciples at a time when this wasn’t done. Shalom
Non of these terms were ecclesiastical and rigid as they have become today. An apostle is anyone specially called and sent. Only God can give the particulars of ministries.
