They put Grizzly bears with wolves at GMR in Vancouver BC. One of the grizzlies killed the pack leader. Then dumbasses realized it wasn't a good idea and got the reamaning wolves out of there.

Some zoos rescue animals that can’t be returned to the wild, and help preserve the species. They also have beautiful enclosures and take excellent care of the animals. So not all zoos are bad. And I’m a true animal lover.

You know, the Zoo in my city once had Kodiak Bears and Wolves in the same enclosure. I once witness a fight between them , it ended with the Bear submitting.
@normski262 Yes, Grizzly bears are incredibly strong and I have no trouble believing that a fully grown, male grizzly would be able to drive off upwards of 5 wolves. But 10? Wolves are also strong and 10 wolves would usually be able to drive off a grizzly. Not to mention that most animals aren't idiots. If what they're fighting over isn't worth the risk then they will let their opponents take it. Most animals will avoid getting into a full blown fight if they can.
Grizzlies do not "often get killed by wolf packs". Thats not correct at all. Its extremely rare, and when it happens it is cubs or very small females (youngsters or old/sick). A healthy Grizzly at normal size has nothing to fear from Wolf packs. Its just to risky for them to get to close.
It's not often, but it happens, and it certainly doesn't just happen to cubs either, plus a bear that size compared to the wolves, the wolves would have won.

I guess a bear would be unable to catch wolves most of the time, but things like coordination failures and tripping can make it easier, after all animals fail a lot. And grizzly bears have as much stamina as wolves, they can prolong this conflict enormously. Wolves will simply run away most of the time because a bear has the ability to fight back longer and more effectively than any animal that wolves hunt.

Generally speaking the coordination and agility of Canines (including many Domestic Dogs) is very high and one of their advantages over Bears. As for their stamina being equal well that isn’t accurate. Bear stamina is definitely pretty decent and better than say a Big Cats stamina, but it’s still not on the level of a Canine. Canines have unbelievable stamina even as individual animals let alone when there are several of them attacking all at once….You are correct that the energy expenditure is not worth it for the Wolves especially when they can hunt way easier prey and there is a chance that 1-2 Wolves might be hurt/killed so they don’t bother instead going after much easier prey….Doesn’t mean they couldn’t do it if they really wanted to (like game bred Hunting Dogs can sometimes do in a pack)…they just won’t because there is no evolutionary reason for them when they can just hunt far easier prey….
Yes, wolves killing bears is on record. The white 'Spirit Bear' along the coasts of BC are killed by wolves during the lean months of winter. It's a concern for conservationists as the Spirit Bears are few in number and this is their only known habitat in the world.

A lot of zoos are starting to put the 2 in the same enclosure. Its supposed to simulate a more natural life for the species, as you can see in this video, the wolves even seem to be playing with the bears. Its just less boring for them that way.

Actually, in the wilderness bears often get killed by packs of wolves in disputes over food. Bears can obviously kill wolves, it happens from time to time, however wolves have the upper hand due to numbers, stamina and speed. You will rarely see a bear steal a fresh kill from wolves.

Tom Biggs a wolve pack can never never ever kill a healthy grizzly, even with 20 wolves it would be almost impossible without losing alot of wolves
