  • The Caravaggi Stump Grinder, powered by a Grillo G110 with 14hp Yamaha Gas Engine, grinds out a stump at the Millville, KY community center.
*NOTE: that for proper use, this stump grinder implement must be operated by a walk-behind tractor with independent steering brakes, so one of the wheels can be "locked" and the operator can "pivot" the machine left & right on that wheel. Minimum power requirement 12hp gas, 10hp diesel.*
The Caravaggi stump grinder implement is available to fit BCS or Grillo walk-behind tractors.

Got a question. I have an 853 gas burner. Is this attachment designed more towards saving the do-it-yourselfer money? Or is it productive enough to make money with?

It is built well enough to use for "hiring yourself out"...the limitation is the speed at which it is capable of working; after all, it's just powered by a maximum of a 13hp or so engine on a walk-behind tractor. MOST landscape/tree removal services would invest in a single-purpose stump-grinder with something like a 30hp engine on it, and they'd grind stumps away more than twice as fast. So most buyers tend to be more on the "homeowner" side.
