If you are blessed with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, you will have NO DESIRE to be "high" on anything! As the Holy Spirit will give you a peace that no drug can compare to. I was a drug addict & when the Lord delivered me in an instant, since I have felt a peace that goes beyond understanding and have no withdrawal! I have also been blessed with a hunger for His Word (Daily Bread). Funny thing about drugs is they are actually taking you LOW & quenching the Spirit of the Lord! Thus, drugs and intoxication are evil things! They make people irritable & emotionally unstable leading to being dependent on them rather than the Lord! 1 Thessalonians 5:16-20 Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not extinguish the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt, but test all things. Hold fast to what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." Romans 12:1-2 Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. 1 Peter 1:13 Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be sober-minded. Set your hope fully on the grace to be given you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit!
I think it's a matter of context as you have said here. Is it producing fruit. To some it can be a medicine, to others a crutch, others it can lead them to addiction. For me it's not a problem, but alcohol is. I know others who are the opposite. They can have a few drinks here and there no problem, but fall to pieces if they start using weed.
So good. I agree completely. I haven’t had a problem with weed, but used to crave whiskey. I have been eliminating it, with His help, and it’s amazing how He helps take away that craving. I pray everyone watching is blessed by our Lord. Thanks Sarah.

This is great. Love your insight. And your intellect is off the charts spiritual light truth and Love based. You are a real woman of God. I don't want to be creepy or over bearing but you are in rare air being so filled with wisdom knowledge and interpretation. (Very few women possess this quality) I'm sure there are pastors that could learn a lot from you. Beautiful.
Thanks Sarah. Here's a little added insight. I was struggling with weed. And was also trying to get back to Jesus. I gave in and started working in the weed industry. I found that the industry is from top to bottom is controlled, and ran by. Satanists, Wiccan, spiritualist, pagans, LGBT, and all kinds of other like-minded groups. But God used this time in my life to wake me up and give me insight that people outside the industry, and even Christians don't realize. The influence from spiritual principalities, that is demonic. All glory to God though. He used this to speak louder into my life, He gave me the strength to overcome the addiction, even while I was still in the industry. And of course He won, and I'm out of the industry, sober, back into His word, saved, grateful, and scripture has taken a whole new depth to it that I've never known before. On the surface God used something bad in my life, tuned it for my good, and even more for His glory. On a deeper level...... well, I'm sure you understand, it's mind blowing, at time too deep for words. Peace, and thanks for all you're doing for the kingdom.
Hey sister Sarah, as always, another great video. I agree with everything that you said here and wanted to add to it if you'll allow me. You've mentioned in your last few videos that God is all sufficient for our every need, and that our sins just get in the way of true fulfillment. I think that it is absolutely critical that we stress this point whenever we have the opportunity. If you look around RUclips, you'll find lots of videos on sin. Yet most of them talk about what **others** are doing wrong and then they quickly devolve into legalism. Let's face it... as sinners none of us wants to be told that we're committing acts of evil when we disobey God, so our hearts turn cold when there's someone in our ear yapping about how bad we are. Even for myself, I know my sins all too well, so the last thing that I need is for someone to be piling on. Jesus says in John 10:27 that "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." I shouldn't obey God because I'm afraid that He'll smite me. I should obey God because I hear the voice of Jesus and I am thankful for His salvation and because I love Him. I am so glad that here among my friends on this channel that I can admit that I'm a sinner and that they will help me to grow my desire for the things of the Lord.

1 Peter 5:6-9 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you. Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
Amen
is vaping a sin? advice appreciated
@@questioneverything2488 I love your username first of all 💯 second- I am no one’s judge but if you feel bad about it then that’s the wisdom of HS in you saying “no good my child”.
One might say it can hinder your health and this doesn’t honor God. This isn’t being a good steward of the temple/body He’s given us. But I’m going to say this… and this is from my own experience and coming from someone who had a lot of vices (little ones and big ones) when I finally surrendered *every single one of them* is when I experienced the presence of God in my life like I never had and it was so good and so satisfying I never wanted any of those vices again. Was there some suffering involved? Yes. Did God provide all the strength I needed to overcome? Yes. It’s supernatural and this is what’s available to you. I really hope this helps and I’ll say a prayer for you 🫶
If you don't have the strength to quit on your on your own,ask God to take the taste from your mouth. Trust me, he will, and you will realize that you can live without it. The reason that I know it works is because I did it. Just trust the process. God bless
Is getting drunk a sin? -Yes
Is getting high a sin? -Yes

"Whatever you do in word or deed Do It All In The Name Of The Lord"
Right to the point 😊 thank you ❤ those who abide in Him will not make a practice of sinning
All the thief on the cross did was believe that Jesus could take him into paradise. No commitment, obedience, perseverance, making Him Lord, praying a sinner's prayer, coming to the altar, baptism, mass or sacraments, or any amount of good works and lack of sin or overcoming persecution required. Essentially, he proved that believing the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ is all it takes -- John 3:16 and John 5:24
He came to repentance when ?
At the end of his life
If he knew the Truth sooner his life would reflect Christ in it
We are called to live a Christ-like life
If you read the verse before John 5:24 does smoking weed honor the father or the son does getting high or drunk honor or reflect Chris in your life
Getting high or drunk is pleasing the flesh brother
We don't walk according to flesh we walk according to the spirit
We don't walk according to the law but we live by faith and our faith should drive us NO thrust us to live according to as we are called
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
James 2:14-22
[14] What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? [15] If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, [16] and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? [17] Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. [18] Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. [19] Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. [20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? [21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? [22] Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
@@thenewcaesar9866 Repentance = greek word for metanoia which means to change your mind, in the context of true salvific biblical repentance what it is saying is change your MIND from UNBELIEF in Christ alone as your savior (aka trusting in yourself, trusting in your law keeping, trusting in your "turning from sins") and BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christs finished redemptive work on the cross for remission of your sins. The gospel can be found explicitly outlined in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. Faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the scriptures is trusting in Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for your sins, being buried and then being raised from the dead on the 3rd day, the moment you believe this you are then washed, justified, and sanctified and sealed by the holy spirit until the day of redemption you cannot earn this salvation, you cannot lose this salvation, you are now bought by the blood of Jesus and are found not guilty in heavens courtroom. Pray and ask the Lord your God for clarity on this and ask him to reveal the truth to you in spirit.

I think for a lot of these questions it isn't a matter of can you do it, but rather should you?
It all depends on your motive for doing it. Engage.
@@dechazal1 can you expand on this?
Yes
Does God lead you to fix it and is he helping you? There are negative patterns of behavior not mentioned in the bible. God has mentioned eating fresh fruit, and drink less caffeine. The alcohol is back and forth, because I have chronic pain. I could take 5 Tylenol, smoke a joint, have a few shots of alcohol and be in his presence and feel all the chronic pain still
There is no greater high than the most high; God. I got that from well known evangelist!
Rod or staff... it's your choice. 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour... the wages of sin is death.
Tried a weed cigarette once, it felt like I suddenly drank 5 glasses of wine with no other side effects. I think everything is good in moderation, but it depends from person to person. The weed did not give me a bad mood. There must be a reason weed plants exist. God bless
@@David-rq6ok I think the CBD properties could be helpful but the psychoactive part def not. I wonder why there are things like hallucinogenics and poisonous toxic plants growing and then I remember we are living in a cursed earth.
Weed like guns is(are) not the issue who picks them up and WHY are the issues
@@dechazal1 hmmmm I see guns being protection in extreme circumstances. I don’t see marijuana being of any benefit though in light of how it affects the brain and spirit.
Is smoking weed as sin? Short answer yes. Longer answer, y e e e e s! :)
If you're asking if it's a sin, it probably is
I am a Jesus kid too
Would Jesus smoke weed? NOPE!! Enough said 😊
yes but do not smoke yourself to death do not abuse thy body
1. Self gratification separates you from god. 2. This is just my opinion but the plant was 🌱 affected by the sin curse. Drunkenness is drunkenness 75 versus in bible warn us of it. God gave us intelligence to know it doesn’t matter how we get drunk. You mock god trying to prove it otherwise. 2 years 3 months sober - He is the truth the way - all you need is Jesus

The person who uses weed or anything else for that matter for self is very foolish
Answer is Yes.
